To tell the truth the performance was pretty damn good. It's just that for Iota's mic it either malfunctioned or it wasn't to his mouth. As for my baby B:eta.....I'm not sure maybe he was nervous because I knew he has AMAZING vocals. He could have been sick or very nervous. His voice cracking twice? Something was def wrong. Aside from that I did expect more from the choreo but it wasn't bad. AlphaBat fighting!! I know you guys can do it!!
Then it's a fact that singing while dancing is not an easy thing, both because of the movements and because of stamina. (It could be an earpiece thing too... if the mics didn't work as they should, it's a possibility other things didn't work either).
Cha Jae Hwa (I AM NOT HERE TO BASH!) Even though I liked their debut song better, I think the issue with B:eta is that his belting technic is no on point yet. And what I seriously don't understand, it's that the note in the MV isn't like what he did live. He tried to reach the bemol higher instead of just keeping the note straight ... If you want someone to compare this with, you can check Big Bang Fantastic YG On Air live; Daesung did what B:eta tried to do. And I think he must have hurt somehow his throat because his voice just simply cracked on the other adlibs. Hopefully they'll be all at the best for their next live :)
I don't consider your comment as bashing :) A lot of idols make mistakes live. And the reasons can be different. I also hope they'll do better at their next live.
i've just discovered this group and don't know if anyone will see this but: - the eyeshadow doesn't look bad, their outfits in comparison to their makeup was just lacking - their singing overall was good, but at the end the high notes made the whole performance look under accomplished - i understand why they'd have only one performance, performing live costs a lot of money and i've never even heard of their company so i'm not surprised if they couldn't afford it - overall, really is okay. seemed nervous, but they have potential. fighting!
I prefer this 100% over the pre-recorded and editted in post "live" vocals we get now. Most current day idols that are popular wouldn't even sound this good if they had this MR.
Tbf this is fine and I can't wait until the boys improve as they go on because I can hear that D:elta has a really powerful voice but he needs to learn how to control it a bit better :) there's a lot of potential with this group
