I have used Abeka from K-2 and am planning to use it for 3rd grade. I only buy the workbooks new and buy the rest used. You don't necessarily need everything. It's a great curriculum and can be overwhelming in the beginning but you can make it work for your family.
Wow thank you for this! The progression is ridiculously fast! We did abeka in 1st and did well and switched for 2nd. Now we're in third grade and wanting to switch from teaching textbooks thats too easy. I dont even want to know what they're expected to know by the end of the year in this book!
Thanks... This helped a lot... I was going to use the Abeka student workbook 3 as a suppliment to TGTB Math 3 which I am working with my son right now... I have the Abeka 3 ELA grammar workbook and it is wonderful to do along side TGTB ELA 3... I am not really strong in math, but my sister is, so maybe she might do all the math with him during this book.... Your video was greatly appreciated!

Try Christian Light math instead

Abeka is one of those curriculums I don't think I will ever try 😬 seems so expensive and overwhelming.
Yeahhhhh I can’t say I’d ever go back to them for anything at this point, not for my family !
