Its super common for Japanese kids to go to Kyoto as a school trip destination (because of the rich history to learn) I myself went there when I was an elementary student 😊
Thank you for giving us little hints to navigate the Fushimi Inari and the secret bamboo grove. I wished more vloggers include those pointers so that I won't get lost when I go visit.
This field trip is called " Shugaku Ryoko ( 修学旅行)" in Japanese, which is part of history education program for mostly Junior school students from outside of Kyoto prefectures. Depends on the school's location, not every school chooses Kyoto, but this histric city is the most popular destination. Usually three nights trip in Kyoto and Nara.
@@TalesFromOurPocket I went on a school trip to Nikko when I was in junior high and to Kyushu when I was in high school. 🎶 Both are precious memories. 💖✨
I've only ever been here in the evening when it was all dark with no one there. It was magical and kind of scary haha. Idk if you got to see one, but there's cats all over the place and they're super friendly. One even jumped on my lap
Dang, no cats jumped in our laps - that would have been fun! I've read that there's a risk of encountering wild animals (things less friendly than cats!). Have you run into anything at night??
The creaking & rustling of Bamboo can also be seen & heard behind the huge golden Buddha @ Fo Guang Shan in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.// Mosquitoes @ Inari are huge.
You can see Japanese kids in fields trip almost everywhere you go, anytime of the year. In the middle of the Japanese alps there were more school kids than tourists.
Thank you for your wonderful video in Fushimi Inari taisha Shrine. I strongly recommend you to come there at night. In fact, I alwyas visit there, take pictures and make video of Fushimi inari taisha shrine at mid-night. It"s so beautiful. Have a nice trip in Japan. Thank you.
I think when I get there I will complete the climb..It may be the only time I'll ever visit. And if I didn't complete the climb I would kick myself for not doing so..hate to look back and think...Why didn't I get to the top?
We got up very early to avoid the crowds! I think we said in the video what time we got there so we wouldn't mislead people into thinking it's always like that. 😊😊
Want a staircase challenge?..there is staircase outside Kumamoto which has 3,333 steps..it's said to be the longest in Japan..As far as I know there is nothing at the top..except the satisfaction of completeing it...I will be in Kumamoto during my trip in Jan...But I don't think I'll have the time to take in the challenge..Just getting there and completeing the climb and getting back down and returning to Kumamoto will be a whole days outing and I am only gonna be in Kumamoto for a day..so...Because my trip is a last minute thing..I've had very little time to arrange anything...So it is somewhat a kind of cobbled together trip....As is I have only booked accomodation for the first 7 days!..which are in Tokyo...(But 3 different hotels)...and I leave on the 4th of Jan!..So I do not have long to sort the rest of my trip...I am hoping to head to Kagoshima (to see the volcano) after Tokyo, and head back through Kumamoto, Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto back to Tokyo to catch flight home.

The impersonation of the people that live at the top 😂🤣 Those people must be so fit!
Right?! Oh, the agony if you forget something in town. 😂

Thank you! It really was an amazing place. We enjoyed it a lot!

Thank you very much! We heard that wild animals have been on the trails at night. Have you run into any?
@@TalesFromOurPocket I have encountered wild boars many times. If we don't even attack them, they wouldn't attack us.😅
I hope you're right! 😂
Can i know which mth you went?
This was filmed in the second half of October. 😊
👍👍👍👍👍

Yes, do it! It's not that hard and it really is beautiful. Don't miss the bamboo grove!! Please have an incredible trip. I'm so glad you're going!

You leave very soon!! 3,333 steps is a lot. 😱 Maybe next time?!
伏見稲荷に竹林がいるのは知りませんでした。穴場ですね。それと美しい女性には蚊が寄ってくるため虫除けスプレーが必要です( *´艸`)✨
