I am a pro commercial embroiderer but you have inspired me now to the point that I'm going to start doing some mixed media pieces, jusy for fun. I spent the weekend getting out all my vintage lace that was retired from almost 20 yrs ago. You do so much Thanks to you I am going to finally use them!

I have so much fun making those vintage looking flowers. Yours turned out beautiful. When I make mine I just play around with them and I use all kinds of different things to see what I come up with. And you can usethem on many crafts! TFS! Hugs! Linda

I tried your flowers with burlap. They turned out great. The burlap had wire in it so it stood up better. Was wondering if you could " circle" it than glue?

Oh...tell me...when you want to dye lace...want is your fav thing to use..or do you use distress ink after the lace is on mostly? Hope I have made sense...

Hi Angie :) I stitch them and all it is is a running stitch (in out in out) and then once you get to the end of your strip of fabric, gently pull the thread and it will gather up. Then just put both ends together (if you want a circle) by stitching a couple of simple stitches :) I hope this helps and that you have fun with your flowers, tfw :)

i bought some fabric today to try and make some flowers. was going to ask you for help, but these videos have helped me. I'm still not good on gathering fabric into a circle. Do you glue or stitch?
