    Good Lord, Karl's short game is a thing of beauty. Haven't rooted this much for Stanford since the Tiger years! ⛳⛳

    Karl, meeting you at the Florida PGA Superstore was an absolute delight. Been watching since you were 12. I’m very proud of your Dad as well- an unbelievable Father. May you find your way one shot at a time.

    Enjoyed this series of vids, thanks Paul, well played Karl, especially as you were so ill on the first round. Man, Karl's demeanor changed instantly once he stepped off of the 18th. Good to see a relaxed smile.

      Short term memory. The better the round, the quicker the time it takes to talk with him afterwards. I vividly remember when, the first time Karl met Tiger, Tiger's manager warned us that the meeting may or may not happen depending on how Tiger finishes his round. It's a valuable lesson learned, that these guys are human and do often need time to diffuse the bomb.

    Great playing Karl at a very picturesque and seemingly tight layout.

    I like how he recovers from that error on his 17th tee shot! He seem to have instantly put it behind after a slight outburst of anger:😏 ...that is a mark of a champion😎Looks like I may see you guys in Miami this month!?

    Great to see Karl putting well. How does college golf work over the Christmas months? More golf in warmer states or a break?

    When will Karl turn Pro all going to plan? Would love to know how these guys go from college golf to the PGA!

    • @KarlGolf

      That's a really good question. Unless Karl does something crazy in the next 2 1/2 years, he's bound for the PGA Tour University, where the top five finishers (Must be College Seniors) from the final Official PGA TOUR University Ranking List receive Korn Ferry Tour membership and will be exempt into all open, full-field events beginning the week following the conclusion of the NCAA Division I Men’s National Championship through the conclusion of the Korn Ferry Tour regular season. The top five finishers will also be exempt into the Final Stage of that year’s Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament.
      For full details on the relatively new PGA Tour incentive to keep students in college instead of turning pro prior to graduation, go to: www.pgatour.com/company/2020/06/01/pga-tour-university-debuts-college-seniors-korn-ferry-tour.html

    Off topic but I enjoy following Karl. Keeps his composure well too. I’m a scratch golfer and lowest rd was 65 three months ago. Still working on how to get over the hump of shooting more under par. Is he going to play in the New Years Invitational in St. Pete, FL?

    • @KarlGolf
      @KarlGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, it just isn't a highly enough ranked tournament for these guys. If they were to have just a slightly below average week in a low-rated tournament, their ranking gets savaged badly. Shame they have to always consider rankings consequences, but that's the reality for them.

      @@KarlGolf Yeah that makes sense. What does it take to win these type of tournaments against these college players? It’s 4 rounds. Now that Karl isn’t playing in it, I have a chance lol

      Karl always gets it out of his system quickly, which is why he tends to have a lot of bounce-back birdies.

    Cant wait until Paul follows Karl at the masters, commentating everything

    • @KarlGolf
      @KarlGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      LOL. Nice thought, but as we experienced at the USGA events such as the US Junior Am and US Am, I'm not allowed to video Karl with anything other than my iPhone, and with no Gimbal use allowed with the iPhones. That equates to comparing Walmart grade Chuck Steak with Grade "A" aged New York Strip.

    • @KarlGolf

      Oh, I forgot. The official reason is because the television rites are sold to the broadcasters, so I'm not allowed to compete with them.

    Hi Karl's dad. Why don't he hit more like 3 wood or 2 iron to be in the fairway rather than scrambling for par. I think that's when he needs a caddy to help him with course management.

    • @KarlGolf
      @KarlGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      He'll learn. (Hopefully sooner rather than later).

  • @dawvideokanal7369

    If he could narrow the miss range of his not so good drives, that they are just in the rough and not in the woods or even in the hazard/out of bounds and his bigger misses with his mid-irons, would be really great, if this is even possible because even pro players have such miss hits in some cases.

    Can you please just give the people what they want lol holes one through 18 in one video or at least a full nine

    • @KarlGolf
      @KarlGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      That's a good questions, but the TH-cam analytics show me is that most people's attention span can't last 45 minutes that 18-holes require. Fans either prefer just the highlights or every single shot and emotion, so we broke it down to 6-hole increments showing every shot and which last around 15-18 minutes. We also do "Highlight only" vids of most rounds.

    He’s lucky to get away with temper tantrums and club throwing! College coaches must be super passive aggressive!!! It’s also a misconception that behavior like that means you care more!
