People really don't know...How strong are these two rounds of Penkyx...He reach the limit of "BEATBOX" and " Loopstation"... Now all the looper doing is heavenly rely on Mk2... If we talk about " Human BEATBOX", Only this dude reach the peak...
To me, MB14, Thorsen, Robin, Saro and TioneB are the gods of the beatbox loopstation. The real BEATBOX Loopstation.
Not a huge Penkyx fan but I do have to agree that current looping isn't as good as it was about 5-7 years ago. Most loopers today try to make these epic "realistic" EDM tracks using 2nd devices and all this stuff but it doesnt even feel like Beatboxing anymore, it just feels like mediocre EDM at this point. Like Reuben said guys like Saro, MB14, Thorsen, Rythmind, NME etc. sound much better to me personally.

man... I wish I could see more from Thorsen, I'm sure he kept his best for another battle and thought he would win this one. I feel like Thorsen changed the loopstation game last year and everyone caught up to him because last year nobody seemed to be on his level. Anyways, glad to see this form of art evolve so quickly and I can't wait for next year.

Mikasa LA BIATCH i understand that, like it starts with a really nice melodic part and then it has some random drop with weird sounds and like I wish it was more cohesive. Like it’s cool and all but I prefer when the melody plays a part in the drop. Penkyx used to do that but not anymore, like with his “Every day you’re in my mind” and “Stay High” remixes, so those are my favorite rounds of him

For me not one looper had a better two rounds than saro this whole competition, he has so much variation in his routines and keeps the musicality in his drops, penkyx tends to do that 4 note baseline, rap over the top, and the drop sounds nothing like the build up but shows off his technique on the loop but I guess that's just different styles and I appreciate saros style more

Second time penkyx eliminates the reigning loop station Champ in the first round. He is so dangerous in the first round, I wonder if he can keep this up throughout to the end or become repetitive like the previous tournaments.
