I met a guy in a bar in Osaka that looked like Broderick. We decided to go to a different bar but there was a long line to get in. I acted like his bodyguard and spoke the the American at the door admitting people and taking their admission. We were able to jump the line bc the guy at the door knew of Broderick and let us in.
Matt Broderick would be a good comic book villain. He would do an interesting interpretation of Penguin, Riddler OR Joker I feel. Slightly camp, but not a parody at all, highly sinister too.

I loved the movie and yes Matthew was quite impressive but, looking back, all I remember clearly is how gorgeous and charismatic young Denzel Washington was. It was the first time I ever saw him in a movie and he totally blew me off.

I'll never forget that one day in 1993... Just wasn't feeling like going to school that day, but I was supposed to bring nacho chips for the basketball game that evening. So I went early, dropped off the bag of chips, and as I was pulling out of the parking lot, my ex-girlfriend and her mother was pulling in. I went, got breakfast, then went to the arcade in the mall for a few hours. The Addams Family pinball machine was very addictive... Then I got bored & went home, planning to tell my mom I was sick. But as soon as I got home, there was trouble. See, the principal hated me & I guess he noticed that I had brought the chips that morning, and left. So he called my two best friends to his office to interrogate them, but they didn't know anything. Then he called in my ex-gf, who told him she saw me leaving that morning. So the principal called my mom.
But the best part was when my mom called the principal back later that day and instructed him to "MIND YOUR OWN GODDAMNED BUSINESS."
Good times. That's my skipping school story.

It was a car accident, and one that nearly killed him and his passenger Jennifer Grey as well. From what I understand, he avoided manslaughter charges because he was not found in negligence as the accident was assumed caused by the weather conditions and his unfamiliarity with the local rural roads.
