Was looking for this to help me with some trim, flooring projects. Tool seems to work well, nice to have the lock as I have used one of these in the past without and the pieces often moved when transferring the design/measurements.
You commented that the corner miter wasn't beveled very well. LOL That was about the nicest way to say what many of us are seriously thinking. You would be a successful diplomat.
Hi I am interested in buying this tool for my husband as Xmas present he is a roofer. I am from the UK where we have victorian house with very strategic corners and angels on our roofs would this be a good tool for him. Many thanks in u are able to help 😀
well it looks like you have a lot of work to do. around the house. lol yes i just paid 30.00 buck for both the 5" and the 10" great buy. saves a lot of time on them cuts.
This thing's garbage, in my opinion... Lots of typos on the back of the box, and feels poorly made. For $15, I wouldn't mind so much, but it cost me $30.

The lock is a handy feature. As well as the 2 set screws on the side that allow to tighten or loosen the slats movement.
God having one of those without a lock would be almost pointless
The best one I ever tried is the ELAB TOOLS Contour gauge which is a kind of 2.0 gauge . Really useful 👍
Thanks for posting.

Profile gauges have been around for forever. I got one made by Etalon dated 1965. And it's made from tool steel.

Geocero Classic 3-Dimensional Pin Art Board Toy for Sculptures - Pin Impression Toy - Pin Impression Hand Mold!.
Did you see that fucking miter on the baseboard...hahaha...
everythings crooked XD
The baseboard going over the door threshold looks horrid.
I botched it up. the contour gauge works fine.
Doing baseboard would be nice if ot went to the floor that frame piece not good.
Didn't have the proper tool to cut it .
You could try a soldering iron on that foam board, instead of the knife.
I use the soldering iron to smooth out and flatten, You could use soldering iron instead of the knife. Thanks for posting.
