Thank you for your kindness Morgan. I too am an animal lover. I too am going through heartbreak over my constant companion of the last 12 years, my “Whistle dog,” has cancer. He’s not got much more time with me so I’m sucking up as much love as I can. Just wanted to say you’re in my prayers and ty for your kind heart. God bless you. ~Lisa
Another hint about cats: I had two cats that had been together for three years when one went missing. The remaining cat, Tinker, became surly during Dingbat's absence. She slept in different places, would only play for a couple of minutes and - as Pablo has done in two videos - welcome petting, give a sharp nip and then either repeat the process or leave in a huff. If we had had another animal, I am sure Tinker would have also been a bit nasty to that animal. Maybe Mollie's absence is affecting Pablo and causing the sharp nips he is given you plus his more frequent snaps and swats at Ginny. In contrast, when Dingbat suddenly died, Tinker smelled his cooled body and none of the "bad" behaviors occurred. She did want much more attention and snuggling for a few weeks after his death, however.
Ginny is providing mental health assistance by giving funny cat therapy. **Slide the planks off** Note how in slow motion she realises something is not right and she prepares herself to boost off the falling planks.
Abby reminds me of my black shepherd Kora. She was the CRAZIEST NUT omg, her and Abby definitely share the same energy and hyper mind. But like Abby, Kora has come into her very good adult self with bubbles of her usual crazy energy. She's a amazing pup just like Abby, so happy you worked with her and gave her the chance to be amazing.
Is Kora fixed? Ever since I watched that video about Abby getting fixed, I've considered getting my female Golden/G Shepherd/Rottweiler mix fixed. She's going to be 6 years old and I'm hoping getting her fixed will moderate her behavior, particularly barking at neighbors (she's a love bug and will take positive attention from anyone, but she seems to be territorial towards passersby).
Aw! Abby-dog doing those playful circles, when she greeted you! For the first time in a long time, I saw my girl doing those and being playful, this morning. She is almost 18 y/o, mostly blind, half deaf and doesn't have many energetic mornings, anymore. I wish loads of those for you, Toby and Abbie in the future, Morgan!
If there’s too much fruit, it will develop smaller , especially in young trees like that. There’s not enough energy to produce it all in full. But, man that’s a healthy tree, and that variety of plum is delish! Had it when I lived an a farm. 💕🥰😎👍
It's good to see Randy mixed in with the herd. I bet he loves it. I just got my copy of your book last night and I LOVE it! You did a really good job with it, I can't wait for book two!!
Watching Toby tear past headed towards the only correct gate for entering his territory was a treat, as was Abby's gallop up the the high pasture. I enjoyed spending time with all the beasties - especially the kittys - love and strength out to you and family on that topic.
Lovely farm update this morning, Morgan, thanks. My paperback Toby book arrived here in England today. I'm planning on giving it to my grandson for Christmas - but I reckon I can (carefully) read it myself before then!
Hey Morgan! In my experience plums prefer sunny, dry conditions with good watering over wet and raining with less sun. Might be the wet summer you got stunting them.
Since they are probably quiet at night, I would find the goose noise kinda neat if I had a small far with a few dozen animals in close proximity. However, I enjoyed the sound of mooing cattle when I lived near those animals. Some people don't want any animal noises.
I love the way Morgan sees his animals as having different preferences and needs, not just because of their species but because of their personalities. I had 2 pet geese as a child, but sadly cannot have any now due to where I live. Those guys are LOUD.
My toddler is not a fan of Ms Rachel but loooves checking in with Mr Morgan and Goldshaw Farm. Thanks for another lovely video to woof, cluck, meow and moo along.
Geese are pretty easy. Nothing better than gosling sounds too. It is funny to watch them look at airplanes. They think they could be giant predators and will eye them like they may be a hawk or eagle. You can kind of train them a little. You can get them to come when you call. They defiantly will respond. They love making a racket. Defiantly enjoy asserting themselves with noise.
Hey Morgan, I understand that maybe you have had some good experiances with Better Help but I would encourage you to look in to them a bit. There had been some serious alligations coming against them with how they treat and over work their therapists and not doing proper screening. Do with that what you will but just letting you know since you are promoting them through your channel. Love your videos.
Your hardcover book came in!!! I LOVE the first pages even before the story begins!!! I only got through Chapter 1, as I had to got to work, but it’s on the coffee table for my family And it arrived in time for my husband’s birthday today. It’s not exactly for him-but he doesn’t know that. I bet he’ll love it, as he loves doggos and their stories☀️
That was a very entertaining and enjoyable way to spend a half hour watching my favourite channel Goldshaw farm everyday is different animals never stop ❤
Loved spending the morning with you, Toby, Abby, Ginny and all the animals that make Gold Shaw Farm the place to have a cup of coffee and begin the day. Thanks Morgan for taking us along, see you soon!
Don't be concerned when Mr Pablo Barn-Cat bites you. These nibbles are male, maybe also female, cat version of love-bites. My males did it also! It is only when claws are flying, or they grip with those talons are flying that you back-off! (Still can be painful though!) Pablo does love you though as he is displaying no aggression just appreciation!
Hey Morgan, if your plums stay small in the coming years consider grafting on another variety-or several varieties. Sometimes people forget they have options like that. Also as you expand your pastures consider if some of your wild bushes/trees may be compatible with crop bearing species/varieties. Maybe you'll want some crabapple-apple grafts or wild-improved blueberries or something. You could also maybe graft and transplant wild saplings for your plant-nursery side hustle. Just sharing some kinda Ideas from things I've heard elsewhere on TH-cam. :-)
It always cracks me up with cats how they get iver stimulated while being pet and then chomp on your wrist, hand😅 my Minkies will be so loving and then she'll get this look and you know it's coming. She never hurts us but we know we're done with the moment of love 😂😅
I am so pleased to see you are giving Toby Dog lots of Love and Attention. Abby's a bit of a pushy girl and you have written a book about Toby. He really knows his place and he is a Sweetie😇
Great point about different personalities among animals even if they are the same breed. One of my Chihuahua mixes loves having her tummy rubbed but doesn't like being held, the other one is just the opposite!
Morgan I have metal health issues and I find to keep on me going is my dog and my bird's. As like you said it helps to talk to someone. I look forward watching your videos as its helps me to relax with a nice of tea.
This electric fencing is so great. It makes such a difference. No don’t hurt yourself with it. I so enjoy seeing happy munching cows. That was really interesting in how many geese you should have per acre for people want to have geese. Baby Bee is turning into a big girl. Please gibe those beauties of your dogs hugs and a kisses from me. You are correct each animal is different and have to be treated as such. The pigs are looking very happy. Thank you. That was a love bite from Pablo, also a way to tell you he's done.

It's a love bite 😁

9:50 🤣 Lol, that exact same thing happened to me when I filmed a YT video and my cat wandered by in the background.
What an enjoyable day on your farm. I miss living in the countryside. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Tobi looks so proud getting groomed, Morgan's smile definitely shows the unconditional love he has for the fluff king ❤
I`m the one who's bummed out today. It was nice and comforting to listen. Thanks for checking in Morgan!💙
Any time!
Hey Morgan! In my experience plums prefer sunny, dry conditions with good watering over wet and raining with less sun. Might be the wet summer you got stunting them.
she's not weird. she knows the best spot to make a nest.
She's the smart one knows what she likes and does it. Doesn't make her weird.
LadyBird goes her own way,
so did Einstein.
Where ever she lays her eggs, is her nest.
Yeah, like that pigeon that made her nest with 5 unconnected sticks😊, really know what she is doing
She's unique and a critical thinker😊

Hey Morgan you never gave us an orchard update! It would be awesome to just have a video of you going over the growth of the trees.
Yes please! I am a couple years behind him with my orchard but got a few apples this year 🍎
Will do!!

The Scriptures are my therapy
I’ve had very good experiences with em and I think that the accessible nature of the platform is really important.
Ginny said "MORGAN, you still have me"...as the wood tumbled down!! Morning chores and a story from Gold Shaw is a great way to start my day!
Just got my first duck egg yesterday!!
Also, anyone near WI that wants male “weird chickens”? Out of 6 silkies I got only ONE hen. They are so sweet!
Tobi and Abby are always a joy to see them work and having a good time they are good dogs
Glad you're doing good they're adorable
The little plums are the best
I've found they are the sweetest with best flavor. Definitely prefer the small ones over big plums.

I just got my Toby Dog book yesterday and absolutely love it. Read it immediately. I think you did a fantastic job!
Wow, thank you!
The only thing I regret about my Toby t-shirt is that I didn't buy one in every color.
Thanks for the farm update, Mr Morgan!

Thanks for all the great content Morgan. Im a D&D player and that bear from a few videos ago definitely made a saving throw! Lol Thanks again!
That is awesome!
Thanks for the lovely time.😊
My book has arrived 😊 all the way from Peacham Vermont to Worcestershire UK. I'm so excited to read it 😊
Thank you!!
Chaotic Neutral sounds about right for cats. All my catfolk characters in D&d tend to be chaotic neutral.
As the seasons are changing, I'm sure your farm will have beautiful colors.
Morgan. If you don't know it. When a cat gives you a little bit like that it means they love & trust you. My Yoda does that.
Great point about different personalities among animals even if they are the same breed. One of my Chihuahua mixes loves having her tummy rubbed but doesn't like being held, the other one is just the opposite!

Your videos always make me happy, this video was definitely one of my favorites! Toby, Abby, Ginny, and Pablo are so special. All of the information was great.
You need to prune those plum trees, but also help them a bit against tree munching insects, I see a lot of holes in those leafs. The simplest most effective way besides regularly trimming the weeds underneath is to cover the trunk with a hardy insect repellent each spring, preferably something non-toxic that won't easily wash off when it rains. I'm using slaked lime mixed in water to the consistency of sour cream, with a bit of gypsum to make it more sticky and some copper sulfate to also prevent fungal infections (about a cup of gypsum and a tablespoon of pure copper sulfate in a 2 gallons bucket of lime suspension), applied like paint from the ground level to the base of the lowest branches. You should also dump a few "cow pies" around your fruit trees to add some more nutrients into the soil, it really makes a big difference with little effort on your part.
Sending you encouragement and appreciation ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜♥️
Interesting...I just finished watching "Cross Timbers Bison" where they spent an hour with the local AG Rep discussing how much weight of various animals can be grazed on how much land. The formula covers chickens to bison. For bison it ran from 11 to 15 acers per thousand pounds of bison.
The mighty Goose Army goosestepping around the farm! Honl hon honk hank hank....
They're loud but much better than leaf blowers!
