An old lady in Petaluma gad a red Lark convertible, it had a supercharged Avanti engine in it with a 4spd. She bought it because she said it was cute. I would like one. Or a Catalina like my dad had.

I'd bet a paycheck, none of the cars shown in this video could be had for even close to 5k.

I think he is talking about a rotted through in the field car that hasn't been driven in 50 years or maybe a small go-cart with the shell of one of the cars in this video. But even then, the go-cart would fetch at least 10K.

I know for a fact that Persian pink '59 Windsor and that red '61 New Yorker are both North of 20 grand. I know the gentleman that owns those cars and he'd be surprised to know they could be had for under 5 g. Try buyin' them at that price.1:04 actually the 389 was available in '59, the 1st year for the wide track Pontiac.4:37 I don't know about it's competitors but the 1st Larks had a 259 then by '61 you could get a 289. Tha Lark lasted 'til '66 in Canada with the last 2 years offering GM drive train. 5:10 uh, no the Barracuda was the 1st pony car coming out shortly before the Mustang in the spring of '64.

Yes I enjoyed this video.....have to comment on Japanese and British and other foreign cars put side mirrors out near the front of the fenders.....odd or more efficient or what ?....since all cars now place them at the front edge of the doors !

You will not get cars that old that look that good for less than $5,000 you may be able to get them restored but they're going to cost you more than $5,000

Deceptive video because the brochure doesn’t come close to what you will find in person for $5000 joke

Every car shown here cost WAY more than 5k. “A running example” means that the engine will turn over with a day’s worth of hard work, but car will not drive. The upholstery is rotted out, the chassis and body are rusted through, tires are flat and rotten, and many parts are missing. This is one of the most deceptive videos I’ve ever seen.

These are all restored. Not one of them costs $5000, even in running condition. Almost every old American car is overpriced and overvalued. It's about nostalgia and not about practicality. I would consider buying a '50s Cadillac or '70 Challenger R/T.
