@@OpinionsPkyes graduated w MSc in Dec 1984 if I remember correctly. Only visited once in 1991. It was a small university at that time
You will not find a single girl in hejab back in 1980s. Today, you will hardly find a girl at QAU without hejab.
Does Hijab hinder the educational goals? Does it? The answer is NO, not at all. Secondly, it's the right of Women to take Hijab just as west supports the non hijabis! Why do people criticise hijab? Why would a female choose to show others her hair ? How can others object her on this? Before 1980, there was Hijab, because there were Muslims!
