That is one way to do it, I suppose.... however, on my Traveller Lite, you just hold down the Logo button for 1.5 seconds and the screen backlight will turn on for 3 seconds!!
*"The digital display has a back-light which is activated by pressing the logo button for about two seconds, which allows the display to be checked in the dark. The back light stays lit for about three seconds. Note: This feature is not explained in the short instruction leaflet!"*

Can you show me a comparison in size of the Traveller regular and Traveller lite? I can’t decide which to buy. Would be so helpful..
I don't have the Traveler 1.3705.AVT (see my list of multi-tools). But, according to the Victorinox website, the Lite model is 4.5mm thicker and 20 grams heavier.

Le circuit est sans doute protégé par une résine (humidité, condensation) mais je doute qu'il soit sans risque de l'immerger notamment s'agissant du compartiment à piles.

Ok thanks. Im guessing it was older. Great price on Amazon. My battery tag tore while taking it off, and the box was in a factory bubble wrap that looked worn. The knife is mint...and awesome!

If it gets wet, all electronic functions will die. Nice concept, poor execution.

The electronics are guaranteed for two years; you should probably avoid diving with your Victorinox! :)
This model can be cleaned like the other models with water or soapy water, the circuits are waterproof.

A la sortie du réfrigérateur (- 6°), mon Traveller s'est recouvert d'humidité; pas de problème.
Il est dommage que Victorinox ne communique pas à ce sujet en donnant l'indice de protection (IP).
Je rappelle que l'électronique est garantie deux ans.
