My son always said me Im going to take care of you Mom when you get old. No nursing home for you. And then he passed away recently of pancreatic cancer. He was 54. But one of my daughters now says the same thing I’m 76 diagnosed with the early onset Alzheimer’s. She also says no nursing home. I’m lucky to still live alone, but my memory is starting to fade. I love all of you very much. You guys give me joy.
“ I’m 92?! “ I honestly look forward to his surprised face. Please always ask him this’s question so we can get that reaction. Thank you for sharing the chats with us, I just love it!
@@Angelonwheels24 not mine either. Neither of my parents cared about their two children. My parents told us we were mistakes and not planned and they made sure we knew that every single day when we were growing up
Boy oh Boy, Ed with really with it this morning. Sharp as a tack! When you said Wed, he said "middle of the week." He's as bright as can be! And so kindhearted and charming.
😂😂😂😂 it's pleasure to watch you two. When my mom was here, she died two years ago, I cared for her for eight years. She also had Alzheimer's, but she wasn't as vocal as Ed. God bless you two. It's a pleasure to tune in.
He is so adorable and humble!!! Just the compassion he has is so amazing. Love watching you guys from Louisiana. Blessings upon you and your family 🙌❤️
"It's such a pretty world today... ?Look at the sunshine, look at the sunshine...." (You both are doing so great ! ) ❤ Studies show that seniors suffering from dementia LOVE music & thrive listening to it. Hope you play this old one...
YES! Time goes faster as you get older. Exponentially. My brain says I can still do some things and my mouth laughs out loud. Get as much joy as you can every day.
💯. The passing of time has clearly accelerated for me with every passing year. High school was an eternity, college passed faster and law school was over in a minute. Then my kid turned 25 a week later.
@@dsalnorcal1434 😮🤯😩😩 Yep. And here I am, wondering where my 45 years have gone! I think just yesterday I was 22, and then there’s a huge black hole that had followed the last 23 years of my life… 😮😢😢 you’re so right, Dan. Time does go faster exponentially with every year!!! Oh, if only we had known this way back then! 🥴🫢
"You go to court." He definitely remembers at times. It is good to hear and see him doing so well. Wonderful that you both care for him. 💜I like that fiesty side😀
A "goodbye" with a waving hand and such a lively "See you tomorrow". God, that was a great moment, I had to laugh out loud with joy. Ed's open, friendly and humorous core bubbled out of him and showed itself in his whole body with a decades younger behavior that is rarely shown by 92-year-old people. Great. And the way you reacted immediately with laughter, that was a great moment from both of you. His "See you tomorrow" was as light as a feather, so wonderful! Best wishes from Anne from Germany 💫
I loved taking care of my Mom and Dad and miss them more than infinity...love watching these morning coffee times together...same as the ones I miss so much.
Man, I love Ed! My favorite thing is watching these videos, especially when I’m stressed or after a hard days work. I haven’t even streamed any new series on Netflix or Hulu. I just binge watch videos of Ed. I hope he knows how much joy he brings into peoples lives and how much he touches people.❤
I love that modern technology so easily enables us to preserve what is essentially a video journal of this time with your Dad. So very special, and you're going to be so glad you have them years from now.
Your father is more lucid than I am, and I am only 58! What a wonderful man. I just love him! I myself had to give up my career when I was 40 years old to take care of my disabled nonverbal daughter, which I still do 24/7, so I know the sacrifices you are making. I commend you! Take care and give a big hug to yourself and your dad!
He’s so parenting with you when he ask, What are your plans today, like your still a young man that he has to make sure your up to good and not just wasting time❤️❤️
Grandpa worries about you but hundreds of thousands of people tune in everyday to make sure he's ok.
So true.. but I do love them both ❤
Never a TRUE word 🙏🏻👏👏
Hundreds of thousands? Lol
Alot of people do, for sure, but that's a bit exaggerated! Lol

Grandpa is always surprised by his age because there is no visible calendar around the house
I think most of us old people find it
hard to believe how old we are. 😢 The years go by so fast.
Exactly..I don't feel my age and sometimes it's hard to believe I got this old so fast...lol
