if you bring in the anvil, a lot of these are actually possible. Shield break in one hit, belly armor in one hit, etc
Edit: Some speed tests would have been possible with powered rails, too.
Also he should have tested some of these with a diamond sword not a wooden one. I am pretty sure it gives more power to Steve's attacks that way.
Ye the anvil trick is pretty cool. They also for some reason didnt use redstone except for TNT

I'm assuming the shield break you're talking about is the one where the anvil hits and breaks a block before falling again? In that case, technically it would be two hits, as the anvil makes two connections with the shield.
This whole thing made me question something: What about gold for Minecarts? They make you go faster
I was also thinking about using power rails, they gain more speed

I don’t know this counts but he can also break a shield in one shot by putting down a block on the opponent and then using down air. The anvil will have a landing hit box twice, making enough damage to “one shot” a shield.
With the out run shulk if Steve has gold he’ll go faster in the cart.

Just a quick think to add with gold you will have a beginning boost but if you press b again still in the minecart with gold you will boost again

For someone who's jump can't even reach the battle field platforms Steve has a pretty broken recovery.

Dude you didn't use any powered rails. That makes a big difference.
Edit: You also didn't use blocks to survive home run bat and you 100% can make it around smashville, not being mean but dude you gotta try harder rather than rush to get the vid out.
On top of that, you can use down air in a specific manner to instantly break shield from full

His anvil is a really good shield breaker.
It’s also broken because there’s like 3 separate hitboxes and if you shield the first (falling) one and Steve uses it you have to shield ALL THE SEPARATE HITBOXES which STILL might not work. Minecart also feels broken

This video literally ignores anything but the basic ideas of steve tech: It doesn't account for his projectile command grab, his elytra cancelling, his minecart speed... Just about anything that requires thinking outside the box was ignored for this challenge. I really expected more from this channel.

@Maulen. IDC Florez powered rails isn't an advanced tech tho, its literally just a thing that happens when you have gold and redstone. And the command grab on minecart (for beating WW) was also shown off in steve info.
Wait, you can cancel the elytra? How do you do that?
@@Rbtdkawaii If you find yourself gliding offstage, you can retrieve some mobility by pressing shield midair, dropping the elytra immediately. Won't give you your jump back or anything, but definitely gives you a bit more control.

Wow, there's actually a lot of "failed" ones he can actually do. Like the Great Plateau one he could blow himself up and get as high as possible and then elytra over it.

1: For the “Can you go around Smashville”, you say that it’s not possible to go around but *blocks*
2: You can out run Shulk if you have gold and red stone with you because of powered-rails

Steve can stop banjos side B with a jumping out a minecart and build, build around Smashvile, heck, just build around anything that needs to be crossed. Big Blue with Power Railed-Minecart. And outrun Shulk with a Power Railed-Minecart. Simple.

Actually you can, you hit a while in recovery to free fall. But if you go in the wrong direction, I will agree that you will almost always fly off the map.

Since it doesn’t seem to be affected by the laws of physics (wind and black hole)
In Minecraft universe there is no effect of wind only effect the explosion

When you think about it, Steve is an actual GOD. He can carry thousands of gold blocks at a time and has to power to just respawn when he dies.

1. you can start in the air, however that only lasts for about 3 rails before you start to drop
2. powered rails are only placed at the start of your track, so even if you could place more, you would end up slowing down quickly

For the guys saying he can one-shot shield and armor with that anvil tech:
He didn't say one-ATTACK shields or armor, he said one-SHOT/HIT shields. If we said one attack piranha plant can one-attack with poison, jigglypuff can do the rollout thing where if the opponent is on the edge and she uses Rollout, it'll hit twice and break shield, but she'll be flung away, miis could potentially use blurring blade, that attack rush for mii fighters neutral b, so on. One HIT means no techs that involve abusing a hitbox to make a move hit twice.
He did mess up on a lot of challenges AND was a bit redundant, for example he could've just built out of the deepest pit and didn't need to waste 90% of his resources for self damage, lack of powered rails and apparently golden minecart, which I just found out mind you(i dunno if it's based on weapon material or its existence in your resources though), he was also kinda sloppy with the block building and he definitely could've lived the homerun bat using blocks.
Though I think that one is restricted to like moves, even with the minecart he was in it, so it's not like he can use those kinda things. And maybe he could've trapped banjo or squirtle in their respective moves using minecart, idk. But like chill with the anvil. It's not a one-attack challenge, it's one hit. Besides don't knock the guy, Steve's so fucking complex under the simple exterior we're probably scratching the surface of his capabilities

He can break shields with one move if you place a block and then anvil on top of it. I think that counts
GimR shows it in a recent video. I think this will also break K-Rool's belly (to anyone that might say that it doesn't count because of it being multi hits: I'm pretty sure they used Link's side smash with both hits for his test)
-idk if TNT Redstone line would count for beating Min Min's reach, but I also haven't even tested if it can go that far anyway. And potentially the minecart can reach with powered rails
-powered rails can potentially keep up with Shulk too, as well as helping with going around Smashville, and I'm pretty sure you can place blocks under the stage as long as you're still high enough. If that's not legal for the challenge it shouldn't be for the high jump challenges either.
-Is it even possible to stop Banjo's side-B with attacks anyway? (Counters don't stop it, they just prevent the user from being knocked back) Grabs can stop it, so that's literally anyone in the roster, but blocks should work if grabs aren't allowed.
7:42 steve can actually break full shields with his down air if you have it close enough as to where the anvil spawns to do one hit to the shield, then the impact of it hitting the ground, finishing off the shield. this is especially scary for Jigglypuff, that instantly dies if their shield breaks
They forgot Steve has powered rails, he would probably fail but still should try
These series of tests shows that Steve isn't the strongest character in smash, but you can obviously see he is one of the most versatile ones. Kinda resembles Minecraft.

Steve can do challenge #27, break a shield in one hit. Not exactly one hit but it takes one setup, GimR recently showcased that anvil tech to destroy shields.
Edit: Steve can also defeat Banjo's Wonderwing by just placing a dirt block in front of him.

@@skillsharekirby2048 Assuming the dash wouldn't break the block. Granted I haven't tested, but there're some situations which forces blocks to be instant-broken (like ledge getup attacks)
There's like 4-5 challenges that steve could succeed with the right materials and technique. Nice work tho 🙌🙌

Steve is purely recovery and dealing massive hit points as well as ledge gaurding
