Realistically new beginnings and good bye's are often a bitter-sweet experience, with emotions like sadness mixed with anger, frustration, doubt and guilt. Focusing only on the happiness, being über-positive and ignoring the full spectrum of emotions can be quite toxic. Soca typically lifts your vibe. The beat and the lyrics are not in harmony. A more uptempo happy type beat would be the better option. An ok attempt but imo Jus Jay seems to be too obsessed with creating fusion type soca music when sometimes its best to stick to the basic. Real talk no hater talk
