Big Spud, I love all your videos! You’re really great at breaking down information and presenting it. Glad to hear you’re finally getting to monetize here on YT. :D
I'm gonna try sous vide chicken for sure! I don't have that fancy sous vide machine but I have one of them sous vide sticks I'm hoping it'll come out alright! I really love your style!
Thanks dude! All sous vide setups work much the same, whether it's a box like me, the Anovas or coolbox solutions. Anything that keeps the water consistent temp. I'm sure it will come out great. Is there any other sous vide recipes you're interested in? I have a whole sous vide playlist th-cam.com/play/PLnScr-W7nhMQlMcvoT-i-2vgZc_u3TF5w.html&si=kyr8FM3KkICM7LS5
Looking good as always Spud! The chicken looks pretty good too! Have you dabbled much with infusing flavours into the chicken during the sous vide process, that chicken with either some rosemary and garlic or lemon and thyme in the bag would go down a treat!
You're right adding flavours to the bag makes a big difference, though in this video I was deliberately leaving it 'plain' to just demonstrate the texture. I probably should've specifically addressed that in the video. Thanks for watching!
Looks delicious! I still need to try something sous vide. Never had a chance to taste something cooked that way yet! How many hours would it take if you hadn't cut up the chicken?

Great question. I think it would've still been 5 hours but unevenly cooked.
Too high a temperature and too long, especially for the white meat
What do you recommend?
Be nice if you tried the whole chicken
The different chicken parts need different cooking times for best results.
@@BigSpud Ya, no problem. The title implies cooking a whole chicken not cooking pieces.
