I thank you for posting this great album. I can still remember when this album came out in ‘83 and they sang “Wonderful Grace of Jesus” at The Perot Theater in Texarkana. Brought to us once again by Frank Arnold Productions.
The next time I seen them Kirk wasn’t there. I was an upset teenager not happy with the change. Then Danny opened his mouth to sing and I found myself still in love with the Cathedral’s Quartet.
I’d love to know whatever happened to Riversong Records. They were the “Hit” factory of Southern Gospel for awhile.

George and Glenn always ensured that the group always had a tight harmony, regardless of who they brought into the group.

I was a young man who indulged in heavy metal of the 70s and 80s. Then I was saved. Somehow.....SOMEHOW this a Capella music got through to me. It was back in the 80s while I was a soldier stationed at the Presidio of Monterey CA. I just was drawn to this as it was so different and so pure compared to what I had been feeding on. I still love rock, jazz and blues, but this is in a category all of its own. Thank You!

I had this cassette when I was a little kid (around 5 years old). I listened to it EVERY NIGHT to go to sleep! I didn't even know who these guys were. Lol My tape finally wore out, but even nearly 40 years later, I still know every word of all these hymns!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I just had my kids listening to this! Memories memories! ♥️

This is the first Cathedrals/Southern Gospel music I remember. I listened to this cassette w/ my dad and brother as a little kid and it still blesses me to this day.

Had a cassette tape of this album and wore it out. Haven't heard this since then, but listening to this, I sang along with every word, vocal inflection, pause. Wow. Can't remember what I did yesterday, but I remember this. Thank you for posting!
