I am trying to fix mine now. My diaphragm cover appears to be glued down like yours was. I will try working the edges with a knife like you did. Thanks for the info! My #1 check valve has bad rubber. Will definitely replace that. Once I get the glued cover off, I will definitely replace the diaphragm. I hope the relief valve there is good. That sucker cost like $200 to replace. Unbelievable prices.
thanks, still trying to figure it out. it seems to be in 'full dump' mode as you put it in one of your videos. when I look at the check one it looks fine, I have taken it out and replaced it several times but like you say it doesn't seem to be working. when i had the relief housing off and everything taken out of there I turned on the water and the water shot straight out the hole in the relief plate. Still trying to figure out how it all works but there is something amiss, just not sure what.
dave i took my relief valve and replaced the diaphragm. when i reassembled and the relief valve was not closing, so when i turned on the water it just ran right out the bottom. why is it not closing. does that sense? thanks
I have another video actually just on repairing the relief on this unit. But if it's coming from the vent it may be an issue with the number one check.
THANK YOU for explaining the different spring gauges/weights! No one else mentions this, not even Watts/Febco in their website or parts diagtams.
Glad it helped!
Excellent video. Thank you.

Yeah I get a lot of feedback on pricing when really parts are just that expensive.
Today it's at least Triple the price!
Thanks, for the "new normal," Bidenomics.
