If Pedrosa has not had the bad luck that he did then he could have easily been world champion. Was proper gutted for him.

heart break for Pedrosa... Easily his best chance at a world championship and he was looking really strong as well.
I was at this race, so glad i got to see Stoner go around Phillip island... absolutely dominated that track.

5:28 as they explain why it's called stoner's corner, stoner shows us why it's his corner. you can see when stoner starts to brake, he's already halfway across the track and setup for entry. pedrosa did it PERFECTLY right until that moment, he was too wide and started braking late. such fantastic sportsmen.

Such a shame for Pedrosa that he was around 10 years too early. If he was in his prime 2022 on he'd definitely have got a championship.
Dani's biggest problem on the big bikes, due to his size, was always trying to get and keep enough heat in the tires. He'd have been ( and has shown in his wildcards) much more successful with aero helping generate that down force and therefore heat in the tires.

I don't think Lorenzo would have had anything to match stoner, but it would have been good to see if he needed to push rather than just take the points with Pedrosa dropping out. Although I also wonder if Stoner would have let Pedrosa beat him for championship reasons haha

Stoner was such a better rider than Rossi. By a long shot. Stoner is closer to the GOAT. But MM93 has that CROWN.

So Pedrosa retired because a bend handbar after the crash? OK.
How can you be a champion winner if the reaction when you fall is to wait for the marshalls to pick up your bike and slowly complaining about his luck... Sorry to the #26 fans but i just don't get it.

Things changed much after that.. ofcourse it had to be..all because of GOAT Marc Marquez...
but still I would say their were some other reasons too..
1.rossi back to yamaha but lost his charm..
    2. Lorenzo although got another title in 2015 but after that he just made a wrong decision parting ways with yamaha...
3.dani pedrosa tasted his own medicine which offcourse happened with Nicky Hayden..
4.dovizioso looked better in previous seasons but not to that much extent..
I think the biggest reason behind Marquez 8 titles is Jorge Lorenzo and Casey stoner...
stoner should have stayed with honda and Lorenzo should have always been a yamaha rider..

Don't forget Marco Simoncelli!!! If Stoner Lorenzo & Simoncelli still riding Marquez can't win 8 titles!!! Marquez technique it's similar like Stoner but more agressive & this year Marquez lost the chance to show me he is better on sign with ducati team, but hes focus its to beat Rossi titles!!!

@@wilsonmartins1009 Lorenzo should have gone to Suzuki instead of screwing around being the second guy at Ducati / Honda. He has to have it his way with that inflated ego or he will tool around in 12th, that's what ended his career. He is just as fast as any of the elite but he can only ride when the bike is perfect (and is set up to turn without needing to slide.) It is really interesting what Honda is doing with young Marquez now. They just changed the bike to work for him and his style is much like Lorenzo. Lorenzo could of had that situation at Suzuki and if so I bet he would still be riding today.
