Great "how to" video! Thanks for making the construction look do-able.
Wondering how long your design phase lasted and how you decided on the final creation? (We'll be working with kids from 5 years up to 17, and we want the adults to stay in shape, too.)

We have got this idea from a blog, and then we added some of our ideas, it took a while to figure out the final design but it came out really good:)

Great work. Want to copy it. One question is: does the bar rotate if someone hang on it and swing his/her body? The flange is locked but thread between bar and flange isn't locked, right? (unless both flanges has been turned to end of the thread). If so how can you do such accurate measurement?

Bar doesn't rotate if someone hang on it or swing his/ her body .Both flanges has been turned to end of the thread. It's super tight because it is screwed to the post.
We dug the holes little wide, so we were able to adjust the bar while we were tightening it.
