yes i agree with you, that's why I don't let people pressure me into going to church before I'm ready. I want to have some knowledge and understanding, I know how I use to feel when the pastor says turn to this scripture in the bible and I'm fumbling through the pages not knowing where to go, I look around me and everybody in my view is reading along with the pastor. I felt so loss and embarassed. Now I study for myself and when the time comes to find a church at least I will feel found.

So, with Jesus as the Headship of the church, there is no other Lord. Additionally, man should not become lower case lords in our lives. Last, and when some pastor says something came from the Lord, it will bear witness with what Jesus has told you beforehand.

My last church tried to tell me I could be an apostle, then they said I was an evangelist. I was a volunteer that God didn't give those kind of callings. Once they told me I could get up And teach. God didn't tell me to do these things. God told me to write a book. I wrote some Christian children's stories. God told me I'm a prayer warrior. I told them I was a prayer warrior soon after that the pastor gets up to the pulpit and preaches that just because you pray a lot doesn't make you a prayer warrior. Same pastor accused me and made me cry and was happy when I left the church.

My father pastored a church full of unGodly ppl & the neighborhood was full of drugs & also homosexuals! An ex-drug dealer came to that church & noticed that some of the deacons were actually big drug dealers!!!
