This legit the only fab channel that has stayed true to its format, I highly recommend this channel to anyone I meet with fab projects 💪🏼 keep up the good work
Man! I need friends like this with a shop like this so I can finish my dang Fox body. Lost all motivation earlier this year after a back surgery, so close to being driveable I can taste it.
Came across your channel when you made your "Front End Alignment Made Easy" video, and your content has made me stay ever since. I'm glad to see the Bibster make more headway. Can't wait to see it move on its own!
Woo hoo! It's always nice seeing that Fab Forums notification hit the inbox.🙌 Kyle, your shop and the Bibbster are looking damn good.👌 The tack feature on that Fronius is amazing... very cool technology.👍 Now that the weather is playing nice, we can all get out in the shop and get some work done. Take care and have a great day, brother.
G'day from West Australia, Kyle🙂 Looking good for a man with a family life to consider.😉 Shop is taking on more personality, just takes time to build it one and enjoy the space 😉🙂👍👍
Bibster looks amazing! Dug up the manual of the welder for the tacking: "During this period, there is a pulsed welding current that makes the weld pool run together better when two parts are being tacked." Instead of ramping up the amps in a straight line, the amps increase similarly, but switch between the standard value and a lower value (diagram looks like 20 to 40% lower current), with the molten metal running together in the time of lower current. Once the nominal current is reached, the pulsing stops.
Shop is looking great sir! I really like the big chalkboard wall- my kids would definitely claim that- well at least the parts that they could reach. 😁
I really like how it's coming along. One day I will have a shop like that......with my own little she shed bar, one day. :) Just have to keep on hustling!
@@fpbibi It should be suggested in the manual. It's especially helpful when you're running an intentional gap like in body work when loads of Bondo isn't acceptable. I'm interested in your results. I still use a Lincoln Precision 185 transformer machine I've had since before Tig was cool. I have wondered if inverters are any better at pulse control.
Where did you get those set in flanges?? I’ve never seen a flange that a pipe slides into for welding.. i need a link to make it easier when i do my turbo piping
That tacking function almost sound like it welds on AC. Next project making some rocker covers? Leaving them open would make me fear dirt would fall in your engine!
I know you probably have time issues, you are busy having a life too man I get it but man I remember subscribing to you for this build and it's been years. Like I know there is a lot to building a car from scratch but like come on man I can't wait lol. Sorry Dont mean to be rude just being a dumbass impatient ♥️❤️
Would have been nice if you could have straightened the collector out on the passenger side, but that would probably be a lot of work. I'd probably do it, but then again I'm anal about things like that.

That turbo mount to the front of the engine is brilliant!!!!
Great to see progress on the Bibster. :-)
thanks
Loving the new green screen, very well done!!!
?
@@Thefabforums so your not useing a green screen???
@@pedroalmodovar6709 no...what part do you think has a green screen?
Love that Fronius unit. I just catered an event for them yesterday at their HQ in Indiana. Amazing place, awesome people, and awesome equipment.
Awesome progress on the shop. Inspiration for me to work on mine.
Bibster looks amazing!

perfect...couldn't have said it better my self 😉
Man, this shop is so badass! I can't wait to build a shop like this! It's getting pretty congested in my 500sqft garage with my machines lol
Shop is looking great sir! I really like the big chalkboard wall- my kids would definitely claim that- well at least the parts that they could reach. 😁
Thanks man...its been a process but I'm one step closer
Great work as always.
Keep up the great work brother
That's one crazy looking machine you building there bro
I really like how it's coming along. One day I will have a shop like that......with my own little she shed bar, one day. :)
Just have to keep on hustling!
right on ! keep putting the the steps
that's a nice casting couch you have
The shop is looking really good.
Surprised you didn’t make those pipes off the header exactly the same.
yeah I am limited on space and the hot side isnt centered so it didnt work out
Yeah, I figured it was a space limitation. Still looks great.
Work Shop of my Dreams :)
What are you doing for heat expansion in the hot pipes
nothing
It would be cool if you wired the headlight on the mini chopper to light up while hung on the wall 👍🏻 🇺🇸
thats actually the plan
Wow that's a shop!
Can't wait when u crank out the videos
TIG tacking pulses impart inertia to help the puddles commingle, just like you said.
Life in the clean lane.
So I could accomplish the same thing with fast pulse setting? I should try that

You should get a car rack, store one of your builds in the air. Would be cool to see undercarriage work while also saving you space.
“Depends on how good I think I am” -classic
Awesome 😎
That wood is absorbing a lot of the echo in that spot.
I still think you should make a bar top for the main opening that folds down inside.
Where did you get those set in flanges?? I’ve never seen a flange that a pipe slides into for welding.. i need a link to make it easier when i do my turbo piping
@parkerspeed - you can find them at Race Parts Solutions www.racepartsolutions.com/

engine will be coming apart...wont even be using these heads
Nice ...
Side note, I got a fox body drivers door if you need one to chop up?
what color and shape is it in?
Red, has a small dent in exterior but otherwise fully intact, manual window, no rust or anything.
What size is all your pipes hot an cold side
2.5 off the headers and 5 down pipe with 3 inch induction
I know you probably have time issues, you are busy having a life too man I get it but man I remember subscribing to you for this build and it's been years.

That a new killfab work shirt? Looks awesome
I made one a long time ago to see if I liked it or not
im almost positive that mercury made a car in 1966 called a caliente 2 door coupe
oh really
What music? 2:41
Video starts at 2:43.
Looks bitchin brother! 🙌🙌🙌
thanks man
The amount of cha you gut makes me a little nauseous.
That being said everything you're doing with and in your shop is awesome. Keep living the dream.
Don’t you need a cold side?
the cold side is the side that goes into the engine intake
Caliente is a lot shorter that the red hot Chile pepper, lol.
Why 1 when you can add 4

may actually work out for me being like it is...still have coolant lines and alt to fit
Those fluttertacks are clever but feels a bit like cheating.
Way to show nothing but the shop and welder
That is sweet, dammmmm
