Ok. 2 MINUTES FOR THIS LEGEND?? I could've done with at least 3-4! He was a purebred skywalker, and one of the few gems we DID have! J-Rich deserves more.
My very first NBA jersey was a Jason Richardson warriors jersey. He was the reason I became a warriors fan. The we believe year was the highlight of my teenage life. You'll be missed J-Rich! I only wished that you retired where you belong; in the bay!
Man i wish he stayed even if he was used as a role player towards the end of his career because he wouldve have put up valuable minutes and he could hit 3. Now fucking Donkey Shrek - has his number 23 - fucking donkey shrek took richardsons 23 at college and at the warriors too
Plague Doc MJ recorded a 48 inch vertical, THAT IS A FACT! No one has ever beat it. MJ was simply the greatest ever do it. I know you have a favorite, but mj was/is simply the greatest, GOGGLE IT!
+Benger2185 yea that team was stacked. Baron, Monta, JRich, Al Harrington, Matt Barnes, Pietrus, all long ass wing players that could defend and score. I know I'm missing someone...
Watching this guy dunk was simply amazing. I remember being a young kid and being inspired by this mans dunking ability. I even modeled my own athletic dunk style after him(modified it to fit my style) watching this guy work each game and throw down some amazing dunks was just incredible.
Jason Richardson is the most under-appreciated dunker in NBA history. I remember witnessing his repeat dunk contest wins back when I was in the 7th and 8th grade and nothing has surpassed those performances since.
+BigBad Bryant under appreciated? how do you want him to be appreciated? build a statue? everybody knows jrich, wanna talk about underrated dunkers...what about desmond mason or stromile swift?
No all-star appearances? What a shame for NBA and fans! for example Joe Johnson has 7 all-stars, i think J-Rich gotta has something about 3 or 4! He was actually pretty good, 3pt range, good finisher, good defense, excited to watch, we love that dude!
My favourite player growing up. I love the 07 Warriors. Baron. JRich, Stack and Al Harrington. Such a fun team, full of alley oops, crossovers and crazy circus lays up (from Baron) fastbreak dunk contest worthy slams and kick outs to Stack for the 3.
I remember being in highschool with him. They played out high school championship game and stopped classes. He was a big deal in Saginaw and I'm glad he became a big deal in the NBA
I'll never forget finding out we traded him after We Believe I still feel if we had him in 08 we would've gotten in the playoffs that year, his trade started a chain reaction, we lost Baron, Harrington and Stack Jack after that. Thankfully Lacob and Guber saved us from Cohan and brought a championship
Just ran crafted NBA similarity App on 2023/24 Jaylen Brown and the most similar player is 2005 and 2006 Jason Richardson with a similarity score of 90. First 2 highlights are a mean poster dunk and a nice block. Looks like JB to me! Hell ye!
I love how he moves his legs when dunking. Gives the dunks some flair
+kietasss Yup, he always reminded me of Wilkins when he dunked.
Just like jordan always did, only the best Dunkers can
+kietasss luv ur vids
Bruh thats the way i used 2 dunk back in the day. I noticed that 2 thats y i love his dunks
Yea especially his windmill dunks.
Man.... I'm crying 😭😭 I remember this dude flying on dunks and splashing threes back in the day with the Warriors.
My fave player. Reason why ive been a warriors fan almost 20 years
Man is like a baby Vince Carter.
@@Asian2706 Vince is like a baby Jason Richardson
@@stephboyarthree4394 Opposite
@@Asian2706 have some respect
one of the most underrated players of the 2000s
Big facts
Nuh bruh no defence, average scorer for a shooting Gaurd and not that athletic comparatively V.C in his prime same era.
Ok. 2 MINUTES FOR THIS LEGEND??
I could've done with at least 3-4! He was a purebred skywalker, and one of the few gems we DID have! J-Rich deserves more.
everytime the nba does a tribute video someone leaves a comment like this
Trap Goth I'm just saying, for the few good things the Dubs did have, we had this guy. Few more minutes could do some good.
and the 3s he was capable of knocking down in the early 10s for that poor excuse of an organization of the 76ers..... they go unrecognized
+Maurice G.J you're a true fan the fans that came out of the blue in June aren't even backing you up.... man that's a shame
I agree this man was a legend to the bay he deserves more smh...
My very first NBA jersey was a Jason Richardson warriors jersey. He was the reason I became a warriors fan. The we believe year was the highlight of my teenage life. You'll be missed J-Rich! I only wished that you retired where you belong; in the bay!
Stop you can only like Jeremy Lin
+Allen Tran supposedly they might bring him back for a game in November to suit up in. Saw it in an article where he was given an interview
Man i wish he stayed even if he was used as a role player towards the end of his career because he wouldve have put up valuable minutes and he could hit 3.
Now fucking Donkey Shrek - has his number 23 - fucking donkey shrek took richardsons 23 at college and at the warriors too
@UCeq5ceUzZ5Dnp0XYshFQUDQ shut the he'll up you racist
Flashiest in game dunker of all time imo. Him and VC are the only ones i've ever seen that have this smoothness and fluidity when they dunk.
+Plague Doc What about MJ? I think he has the record for vertical
+r3p3nt44giv3n3ss Gerald Green Or Zach Lavine probably hold that record my nigga
Aviaz X NOPE@!!!U MJ holds the record at 48inch mynig. Google it
r3p3nt44giv3n3ss MJ doesnt hold the record. Also vertical doesnt have anything to do with fluidness while dunking. MJ was great too but not as good.
Plague Doc MJ recorded a 48 inch vertical, THAT IS A FACT! No one has ever beat it. MJ was simply the greatest ever do it. I know you have a favorite, but mj was/is simply the greatest, GOGGLE IT!
Who remembers when the 07 warriors knocked the 1st seed mavs, that was a great series
Baron Davis was a beast
+Benger2185 Who doesn't lol that team was awesome to watch
Imagine of that happed this year to the warriors and the pelicans won!
Still Rene that series like it was yesterday
+Benger2185 yea that team was stacked. Baron, Monta, JRich, Al Harrington, Matt Barnes, Pietrus, all long ass wing players that could defend and score. I know I'm missing someone...
Very underrated. When you think of great dunkers in this era, people think of guys like VC or Gerald Green. But no one thinks of J Rich
Watching this guy dunk was simply amazing. I remember being a young kid and being inspired by this mans dunking ability. I even modeled my own athletic dunk style after him(modified it to fit my style) watching this guy work each game and throw down some amazing dunks was just incredible.
One of the best dunker's of all time
Hard to believe Jason Richardson never made an All Star.
By the way, he isn't dead.
He's just retired.
He dead
Cuz he dead
He's not retired he plays for my Sixers
+Andrew Eckert he retired
+Andrew Eckert he didn't actually he just got traded to be the Hawks and then retired. U obviously don't follow basketball. P.S. The Sixers SUCK
Fuck You
This man had a simple smoothness, his dunks were just so elegant.
dude had crazy athleticism gah damn
J Rich 360 windmill with the flare is for sure his signature
One of the most exciting dunkers of all time. He was a beast with the warriors
Once a warrior, always a warrior
Jason Richardson is the most under-appreciated dunker in NBA history. I remember witnessing his repeat dunk contest wins back when I was in the 7th and 8th grade and nothing has surpassed those performances since.
+BigBad Bryant under appreciated? how do you want him to be appreciated? build a statue? everybody knows jrich, wanna talk about underrated dunkers...what about desmond mason or stromile swift?
WOW is the only thing I can say. Was one of my favorite players to watch
His stats are very similar to Andrew Wiggins
No all-star appearances? What a shame for NBA and fans! for example Joe Johnson has 7 all-stars, i think J-Rich gotta has something about 3 or 4! He was actually pretty good, 3pt range, good finisher, good defense, excited to watch, we love that dude!
JRich has one of the best highlight reels of any 2000's player.
I will always put Jason Richardson to my list of best dunkers in thr NBA he was a beast back then
J-Rich was a freak, my favourite Dunker of the 2000’s
Jason Richardson was a great dunker! Especially his 360 dunks within the dunk contest were fabulous!
One of the best in game dunkers you will ever see
Their is something nostalgic about the graphics. They look old but bring alot of memory
Yeah, back when i loved watching the NBA. In any case Richardson seem to be a smaller version of Kemp. Very similar explosive!
Never heard of him before. Crazy how he is never talked about when it comes to great dunkers, he could fly
whoa! J-Rich, one of the top 3 dunkers of all time, ka-pow!
Now that's what a highlight video should look like

Should have been a star.
Love how early in his career he was one of the best dunkers and then later in his career turned into one of the best 3point shooters
Underated dunker IMO
My favourite player growing up. I love the 07 Warriors. Baron. JRich, Stack and Al Harrington. Such a fun team, full of alley oops, crossovers and crazy circus lays up (from Baron) fastbreak dunk contest worthy slams and kick outs to Stack for the 3.
Definitely fun to watch! 🥰

Great tribute video
Him and Monta on the GSW were fire 🔥
J Rich is one of those guys that i can never remember what he looks like
Of course a Cav fan would say some dumb shit like this
yourwel arab
J-Rich made those dunk unique by his leg movement while flying in the air.
And those GSW was a pretty fun team to watch.
I remember being in highschool with him. They played out high school championship game and stopped classes. He was a big deal in Saginaw and I'm glad he became a big deal in the NBA
Confession: I used to really like those old Warriors uniforms.
💯
(Late comment)
Those Warriors uniforms are one of the best!! However they're second to the 2000s 76ers unis.
yeah right when they sucked, no1 cared lol
In before people who watched richardson play once before say he is a legend and one of the best players ever.
Always a treat to watch
This is my first time seeing highlights of him in his prime. Wow
One of the great players of the 2000's
Imagine him playing in his prime in the league now...😫
His stats are very similar to Andrew Wiggins
LEGEND
Also super good 3 pt shooter as well
currys fanboys be like "who is J-Rich?"
made me fall in love with basketball. he's still my username from 5th grade haha.
All the Warriors bandwagons have no idea who he was
Damn i didn't know that this guy had highlight dunks on a similair level than VC! :O
I'm glad he finished his career with the 76ers I just wish we had gotten him sooner🙂
The most fearless dunk ever

This nigga gets 2 minutes for his career but they give Lebron 3:30 minutes for one season

This man was my favorite basketball player growing up. For years he was a bright spot on a terrible Warriors team.
His stats are very similar to Andrew Wiggins

J-rich legend of dunk .
I'll never forget finding out we traded him after We Believe I still feel if we had him in 08 we would've gotten in the playoffs that year, his trade started a chain reaction, we lost Baron, Harrington and Stack Jack after that. Thankfully Lacob and Guber saved us from Cohan and brought a championship

my all time favorite dunker
Raiders tho bruh..
I got him at number 2 greatest dunker of all time behind carter of course!
Best two footed jumper in nba history
Just ran crafted NBA similarity App on 2023/24 Jaylen Brown and the most similar player is 2005 and 2006 Jason Richardson with a similarity score of 90. First 2 highlights are a mean poster dunk and a nice block. Looks like JB to me! Hell ye!
I wish he is still in his prime playing with Stephen Curry.
He's a well aged athlete, some what losing his athleticism but gaing experience to be better for his team, as you saw his playing years in Phoenix
That dunk on Manu tho 😅
he did Manu dirty lol
Hall of fame 2020
