honestly tho, as soon as u ask urself whether ur queer or not, u know u r XD but coming out to urself is the hardest part and this video describes the process perfectly XD
And here are some question for the aroace version of this gameshow, with contestant Me: Host: "Were you ever romantically attracted to a person?" Me: "I once felt a positive emotion towards someone I'm not related to, so that means yes, right? Ooh, and I once got really invested in a beauty standards conforming fictional character of the appropriate age, so that means I was in love with them, right?" Host: "It doesn't! Next question, have you ever felt sexually attracted to anyone?" Me: "Sometimes I find people nice to look at. That's what sexual attraction is, right?" Host: "Um, no? Next round, how do you feel if someone pretty and pleasant shows interest in engaging in romantic or sexual actions with you?" Me: "I want to throw up and run away to Pluto." Host: "...You're literally an aroace stereotype. Why are you at this gameshow?" Me: "But, but I enjoyed reading that romance story! And I don't want to live alone! And I always wanted kids!" Host: *gently maneuvering me out the door* "If you get any more aroace the density of your queerness might be enough to form a black hole. But please join us next time, when I inform you that some people actually identify with a gender and don't just pick one based on their favourite hobby. Goodbye!"
Oh my goodness, why are inside my mind?? Who let you in here 😂No, but seriously as a genderfluid asexual (though I'm panromantic) I related to this so much
After I first admitted to myself I liked women, I had this same game show playing in my head for a whole year afterwards. I kept driving myself crazy with questions of ‘am I attracted to this person? In what way?’ Coming from an Indian background only amplifies the turmoil. I had to learn to settle down and let go of labels. Thankyou for drawing light on this and making me laugh about it. It isn’t an easy place to be in, I know that for sure. But I sincerely hope you’re in a better place now. Lots of love and best wishes to you Lilly ❤️
im not sure ive ever related so hard to anything... i shall be watching and rewatching this video because oh my god the accuracy like why can i not just figure it out and move onnnnn
I want to vent so hard on the internet about how hard working Lilly is. She so underappreciated. NBC needs to change her time slot and promote her show more and not use her as their POC token.
This is one of the MANY reasons I love Lilly! She is relatable! Those were all the types of questions I constantly asked myself before I came out. I just wish it was formed as a game show in my head 😔 lol..love u Lilly!
Lilly is amazing. She is and always has been. She may not be getting millions of Veiws right now but that doesn't put an end to creativity and creation
Ohky this is soooo freaking amazing!!!! And accurate!! And how so like honest !! I loved you 4 years back when I found you and I still do ❤️ and I'll probably always ❤️
Hi Lilly, I am a new fan! I have been catching up on your You Tube videos. I really enjoyed the whole show and this sketch in particular. Yes I am queer but the way you present this it has various layers to it and it makes me laugh! Great writing and acting!
I relate And I have a different theory I compliment women a lot(childhood weird mixed narratives of women not being complimented often and being called jealous when you don't approve societal norms ) - on their face and to others, and a few casual acquaintances were like why are you calling her sexy(the girl I don't even know)- are you a lesbian?. I used to brush it off as in my head I'm totally crushing introvertedly on the dude with the white shirt and blushing inside(and perhaps already imagining being married to him without even ever speaking a word in reality). And then I thought I have no judgements for the lgbtq+ community and the mature thing to do is to really think what ppl(the random strangers who arent even my friends) are saying. Then I gave myself a hard time- not for long though as I realised how I again got trapped into thinking what other ppl are thinking of me. Moral of the story? I appreciate beauty where I see it. No one's opinions should make you question your orientation(just like all aspects of one's life). Still crushing on Tom Felton. Every human and child despite their orientation ogles b**bs. WOMEN COMPLIMENTING WOMEN ON LOOKS IS SOO RARE that when one does ppl (the annoying ones) question your sexuality. And lastly, Maybe you want to reconsider your orientation but make sure you want to do it for yourself - not others.
Here is a game you can play while waiting for funny comments. Your job is to find: 1 ‘you are so inspiring comment’ 1 boy comment 1 🥺/🥰/😍/😁 emoji 1 hate comment 1 sexist or comment using snowflake as an insult 1 reply 1 sarcastic comment or reply 1 prof pic involving a picture or cartoon of a girl Your second job is to: Drink a cup of water Go pee if you need Pay attention to your damn zoom call Have a good day.
So relatable xD Damn Lilly, I thought it was ok for me to be so much into Shakira because years ago you said you were too, and now it turns out we are both contestants in the "Am I Queer?" show xD well. C'est la vie
“There’s a plus now?” The + denotes the premium membership subscription. First there was LGBTQ+, then there was Apple TV+ & Disney+ 😂😂😂. For the record I’m just joking & I’m an LGBTQ+ ally but it does sound like it could be the name of a streaming service lol 😂😂
You really didnt need to attack me like that, Lilly!
Ikr...the story of my life...
"Ok. I'd like to have the brief case tell me if i'm queer"
Labels don't mean anything and this is you questioning yourself....hats off @lilly
"Hey mom. I'm so sorry" *waves* I'm crying hahaha
"Ok. I'd like to have the briefcase tell me if i'm queer" is my new catch phrase
Thanks to lily for letting us take breaks from the reality of quarintine
Llly is the hardest working person in Late Night right now. I love the show, but I hope she gets a break soon.
That may explain why it got the reviews it got.
