What Cliff said about his fans tickled me and he's right. We want to hear him sing Body and Soul just the way he recorded it word for word so we can sing along. 🎶 I can listen to this song over and over.
There is nothing like that in today's society.I wish these young heads could understand what that was like.Simply magical a once in a lifetime thing and I'm glad that I got to experience it.(OLDSCHOOL 4EVER)
One of the most underrated falsetto singers of all time.I too love Russell thompkins,Ted Mills, William Pogie Hart,Phillip Bailey,Harry Ray ,Billy Brown etc but Cliff as well as Skip Mahoney, Leroy Burgess, and Kenny Kelly never really get their due.
P. S. I grew up on Soul Generation- Body& Soul / Million Dollars . That was the days of blue light/ red light or whatever color bulb we could find for basement parties/ hops / slow drag-dance music etc... dance
Such a sweet sound !!
