Size of propeller to ship is small. On our Ocean Going Tug for size of ship it was huge. Diesel electric propulsion it had 4 V12 super charged engines.

If a human falls behind the propeller (when the ship is running ahead) they would be pushed away from it. But if they fall in front of it, they would be sucked through the propeller and chopped to pieces.
