Yes it is safe to open the pack, Gold remains Gold whether inside the package or outside. If you’re planning on selling it back to the brand then you might have to check with the brand regarding their buyback policy. Otherwise no issues at all, local jewellers will buy Gold as usual only.

Usually resale is lower than market price. Let’s say 95-99% of market price. I would suggest not to sell if the market price in the next 2 years hasn’t given profit. Hold & sell when market price is up.

No issues while selling, just that jeweller should be willing to buy. Some local jewellers sell hallmarked gold bars but online I don't think any brand sells hallmarked gold because it is not compulsory. Try zaamor diamonds...

However if the ornament that u have chosen needs more gold than u have saved, then u can use gold coins or pay extra cash etc. I suggest go for GRT, Malabar, Lalitha, Tanishq jewellers or whatever is nearby to ur place.
