Saw the show for the second time on Wednesday and it was incredible! This show is one of my favorite musicals I’ve seen. I love the spectacle of it all!
I’ve seen it twice in the West End and once in Broadway and your review is spot on. It’s not gonna challenge anybody’s world view but boy is it a great time! I really enjoyed Olly Dobson (original Marty in the WE) and also loved what Casey Likes brought to the role. Liana Hunt was out the night I saw it on Broadway, but I was a huge fan of Rosanna Hyland in the WE. Her voice was incredible. In the WE, My Myopia is staged on a large branch that extends from stage left, and George sits on it and it gave Hugh Coles a chance to be more physical than the weird bush they changed it to for Broadway. They also added the big flashy ending to Gotta Start Somewhere, which was a welcome addition and gives Goldie Wilson a chance to have more of a moment. Finally, when I saw it on Broadway, there was a girl next to me who had never seen the movie and was loving the show (and I was excited for her that she didn’t know how it would end!)
I saw it in previews on Bway. We got rush seats and honestly, those seats shouldn’t even be given away! We were so far off to the side we missed a ton of stuff. We’re headed back on Black Friday to see it from center orch & we’re really excited to get to experience the whole show!
I subscribed to your channel ❤ I Love back to the future so much❤ Even my dad and my autistic brother timmy loves back to the future and so do i too❤ By the way You're The Greatest ❤
I've seen it twice in London and I will be seeing it in NY in January. I agree with almost everything you said, but I do want to point out that although everyone else is staying relatively faithful to their on-screen counterparts, Roger takes a different approach with his Doc and, pun intended, It Works! It took me a few minutes to get used to it not being identical to Chris Lloyd, but by the end of his first scene, I was totally won over.

I'm an extreme Back to the Future fan but, I absolutely hate musicals. I pass by it everyday and say to myself, no thanks.
