I had already started the whole “ shine your sink” every night but doing it several times a day has been a game changer. Many prayers for Judah as he travels and for your Mama heart. Sarah you aren’t the only one that adds the wrong ingredients to recipes. I took a dish to a family gathering and that is where I figured out I had put a cup of salt in place of sugar! So embarrassing! So proud of Judah and praying for him. It is going to hurt your heart. It helped me to take a walk by myself and feel all those momma feelings and go ahead and cry. It will ease up once you hear from him and all the wonderful things he is doing there.

Talking to your Mum is never a waste of time. I wish I could still call mine up 💕 I use to talk to her after everyone was in bed. She was always great for advice on baking, cooking or child help. She had raised 7 of us.

Random question: you have said before that your kids love frozen fruit. Are you talking about the kind out of the bag? Do you put it in separate bowls for each kid?Do they grab it from the bag itself? I left some from my Walmart bag in a bowl in the fridge and it got very soft and squishy…lol.

I had to move from Portland! I couldn't any more. I have fibromyalgia and diabetes. Wasn't a good combo. It's 75 percent better I’m central Oregon though. Which makes me feel better. Those are such cute kittens ❤❤❤
I had my first big meltdown when our first born moved to the city for University..
I was so proud and happy for him but it was soooo difficult.. just such a change and even though we're a small family it was heartbreaking. Not in another country like your big boy but still like arrrrrr 😢😢

I grew up in the Seattle area.... We survived with getting outside rain or shine! Yes you still get UV light through clouds! And some do get a UV (happy) light to help in the winter season. And against popular opinion it doesn't rain ALL rhe time there there is a wet and a dry season (june/July through Sept/Oct). I am now in NWVA with my husband and littles and my Mom moved to be close to us after my Dad was called home to heaven 2yrs ago and she is liking the light/sun all year long here(and we get about the same amount of rain as Seattle).

Our 20 year old is going away for 5 months for a discipleship training and mission experience program. She leaves September 15th and I'm already teary and emotional about it . I support her following the lead of the Holy Spirit and what she believes is God's plans for her .. but it's still really hard to let her go. We love you and your family... Jesus loves you. Living in Washington for most my life and I will say you get used to it. We always take advantage of the weather when the sun is out we are out playing. But even when it's cloudy and overcast we still go outside. It has to be pouring rain and cold for us to be inside. But we loooove our sunshine.

Sara, totally understand your feelings about Judah’s departure. I experienced the same type of feelings with my daughter going to college last year. She’s my only child. I was extremely emotional.
