Sometimes I think about buying an Orange amp just because of how cool Ade is. Great interview.
Buy an Orange amp because they sound freakin killer. Ade is a real throwback, and his amps really show the love he has for music.

I just bought an OR15, and I love it. It took me a little to dial in, and I had to figure out how to make a reverb pedal work well with it, but after working it, it sounds awesome.
Reverb in the FX Loop? And boosting it with a clean boost preamp?
Adrian is probably the coolest guy in the world - and I just met him!
This started as a (let's call it) regular interview (even for you) but then it went huge and ended up as maybe the most interesting (AND AWESOME) interview ever about guitar and pro audio gear. Thanks man, thanks a lot!

One can plug a separate cab into the rocker 32 and still use both speakers in the combo. You just need to replace the 16 ohm speakers for 8 ohm speakers, wire them in series and plug them into one of the 16 ohm jacks. Use the other 16 ohm jack for another cab.
Huh? There are only two speaker outputs on the R32, one for each of its 10" speakers. If you unplug one of the 10s to plug in a cab, you then have nowhere to plug in that 10.
I was scratching my head thinking about "what is this spice Adrian keeps talking about". @16:40 I realized it was SPACE all along :D. Great interview!

I think Ade Emsley has more rock 'n roll inside him and outside of him than so many image conscious musicians in today's world. This is of course evidenced by the sonic masterpieces he creates. Nothing sounds like an Orange amp. I have a small suggestion for Mr. Cliff Cooper.....please consider a 4x10 combo with the title 'Cockneyverb' as a tribute to this great craftsman
I've played orange amps. They're great, but i don't think they're for me. And yet i still have some level of fascination with them. Plus their cabs are awesome!

I love when Ade talks about his amps. I really wish they had him explain what the individual amps are for, like for example here where he explains how the natural on the Brent Hinds is good for taking drive pedals, but the 15 is good for pushing the power amp and doing Paperback Writer. This is cool.
I really love how orange zeroes in on gigging musicians, from the tiny terror to the rocker 32 and beyond, I love it. They have high end boutique stuff, but the focus always appears on the working bands gear. I gig with an older orange rocker 30 and recently switched to an orange thunderverb 50, great features, reliable and sound great. Love the orange stuff. I'm hoping to add a rocker 32 soon, but I don't mess with effects much, so the stereo is lost on me. And my rocker 30 is phenomenal.

In earlier days i used to have an orange and loved the power, it has as they say, got balls! If you're doing AOR rock tribute gigs it's a wonder box, as is the Carlsbro 50 head, oh my lord! you can play to the entire block from the pub with that thing. Of course heads are not combos and need a cab with 2 or more 12" speakers or such to drive through, if some bell end doesn't get that, especially driving stereo (clue Stereo as in two numb nuts!) hopefully evolution will step in and sort them out, natural selection might find them shorting themselves out and frying to the spot. Great chap that fella, nice honwest businessman - as rare as rockin' horse manure! (as he will be aware of that term). Thanks Henning.
Production of the album is only part of what record companies offered. The other components were promotion and distribution.

Crush 12 is 8ohm. I put a 1/4 mono Jack switchable between the voice of the world speaker run it into my Marshall 4×12. It's big..this little amp needs that Jack on it. Hindsight the reverb and tuner would be nice touch. This has become my go-to practice amp w/412
A pretty good interview but Henning, you were super earnest and quite a few times cut Ade off before he'd finished - I just feel he might have benefitted from a bit more space sometimes.
Too bad he didn't let Ade talk more about design at the beginning of the program.

Im on Ades side with this one. If you want two separate cabs for a stereo rig, just get two separate amps. The 32 is about the all in one convenience package.
