Black-winged Stilts - breed in Yorkshire for the first time

A pair of Black-winged Stilts bred at YWT Potteric Carr in 2022. This was the first breeding success recorded in Yorkshire. All four young were successfully fledged and migrated south in August.

Thank you, this is a great video and brings back many happy memories of watching the stilts last summer. Let's 🙏they are more successful next summer at Potteric which is a lovely reserve.
