    Superb catches mate, one of your best yet! ;)
    Love the old rotators on the CPL.
    I thought CPL stood for Combined Pump Ladder, but I was wrong, what does it stand for?
    MFRS fleet is all very old, with strobes, halogens and LEDs on Scanias, very unusual compared to other fire services who mostly have new Scanias with LEDs, yet their older stuff are Dennises with strobes/halogens.
    They used the wrong sirens by the way!!!

      +CobraEmergencyVideos "wrong" siren? You make it sound like specific sirens are only for certain circumstances?

    • @CobraEmergency
      @CobraEmergency 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aha no it's a fire appliance spotter thing. Merseyside usually uses two tone airhorns, my favourite type of siren.

      +CobraEmergencyVideos OK, understand! :)

    • @Scouser999Vids
      @Scouser999Vids  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +CobraEmergencyVideos The difference is Two Tone Horns aren`t a siren because they`re horns and not electric xD

    • @CobraEmergency
      @CobraEmergency 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They're still a siren lol. The word siren has been around for thousands of years, long before the human use of electricity. In Greek mythology it's a beautiful creature whose loud singing sound lures sailor's in, whose ships then wreck on the coast for which the Sirens sit. LOL!
      But in more recent terms, a siren is a loud warning sound. Hence why they were called Air-raid sirens during the war, where a disc was span generating a 'Q siren' sound effect that would echo across the land, warning people.
      The prolonged use of horns by an emergency vehicle to warn people would still be called a siren.

    Hi Cobra! CPL stands for Combined Platform Ladder...You weren`t far off!

    3:15 to get mobile is atrocious. A gentle stroll to man any appliance seems the order of the day and then hang around the station further. Don't risk breaking into a sweat!

    Why so slow and all the messing about???

      If I remember correctly it was around shift change so they had to swap their fire kit over and of course get someone allocated to drive the CPL.
