Thanks Gus! That Get Off my Lawn game really does look like fun. 🔫 And yes, my time in Barcelona so far really has turned out to be the jolt of inspiration I've been needing and I'm having a great time.
I've passed by Birch & Alder many times over the past few years. Had no idea it was a bagel shop. I'll have to stop in the next time I'm heading south in my adventures. It's on a highway that is both beautiful and dangerous--a lot of blind curves, slow moving cars (whales on one side of you and sheep on the other lead to a lot of rubbernecking), with few opportunities to pass lead to aggressive driving and poorly timed passing.
@@MakerProjectLab you talked me into making the 65 mile one way trip on Saturday to grab a bagel. I’ll continue on to one of the glaciers 15 miles down the road from there for a hike. I’ll report back by Monday. Side note: if you ever decide to surf the bore tide, go with someone who know what they are doing and only ride incoming tides that push you toward land. A wind surfer friend told me that someone riding the outbound tide washed ashore days later in a town 160 mile drive away. The area isn’t a place where pleasure, military, or commercial craft venture, so you’re on your own for rescue.
😂 The "Get Off My Lawn!" is fantastic! Really good showcase today, Donald! You seemed to be enjoying Barcelona quite a bit (and it shows)! 😎✌️

The bagel bore tide predictor was my favourite. What a great idea!
Yep, that one totally made my day. It has a Pee-Wee's Playhouse quality that I love.

Crazy! You'll have to report back to verify the bagel quality, Jason. 🥯 Sounds like a unique surf spot, for sure.
