I just want to say that I think you guys put out great content. I have been thinking about and researching moving to Hawaii for a couple years now. It’s still undecided but over the next 4- 5 years the decision will become clear. Your videos have helped tremendously, thank you so much!
My husband and I took a trip to Hilo today to take a neighbor to a appointment. We stopped at Akaka Falls, Rainbow falls and Coconut Island. We were going to go to the gardens but had to get back. So I guess that will be next on our list. Looks like it is well worth the stop.
Iv'e got a guitar question . I'm working to move for a year in Hilo, (Work on my Japanese,I'm 2 1/2 years into it, need native speakers), and would like to bring some instruments with me. Wondering what the weather is going to do to my Babies? Any wise words out there? Electrics and acoustic, both.
I chose to buy a small house in Hilo. Kona side was just too arid.

As long as you don't go up too high in elevation you should be fine...oil is your friend.
