Q: What server am I playing Arma games on, who are these people, and can you join?
A: It's the private server for my community, Shack Tactical. As of 2014 we've been around for eight years, and I wouldn't trade it for anything - we have a fantastic memberbase and it makes for amazing gameplay in Arma and elsewhere. You can read more about us here: www.shacktac.com

Q: Does ShackTac play mostly coop or mostly PvP/adversarial in Arma?
A: We do a mix of about 70% adversarial and 30% coop - both offer unique experiences and are a blast to play.
Q: How long have you been playing the Arma series?
A: I've been here from the start, with my Operation Flashpoint experience beginning with the demo's release in 2001. I went into the US Marine Corps shortly after (no relation!) and in 2004 I started playing OFP in multiplayer. 2006 saw me found ShackTac, which started in OFP and then transitioned through Arma 1, Arma 2, and finally, Arma 3. I hope to continue this for a long time into the future, as well as share the ride with viewers like you, as corny as that sounds!

I think Ridge Runners and Sole Survivors have been two of my favorite videos so far. The intense action, the witty banter, guys giving each other a hard time, and then being there to pick each other up. Reminds me of how it actually was. Thanks for sharing these experiences with us *****.
Is it just me or does Dslyexci seem to enjoy himself more and starts to act like a little boy with a fun new toy when everyone else is dying? :D
It seemed to me that witnessing the deaths of everyone else in his squad made Dslyecxi somewhat more cavalier than he usually is... or perhaps just more fatalistic and resigned to his fate. 'All men must die' and all that.

Yeah, this was amazing! Getting to see three different views of the same op was awesome! Taconic's vid, where Boga somehow survived, is a great view of what went down on the hilltop. ChKillroy's is fantastic too- Dsly was lucky he couldn't see what was being shot at over the hill at the end there.
I watched Taconic's POV first, and it was a bit sad to see what had happened to their position, but I was happy to see that Boganova survived! That mission was crazy/
At least you guys made it. I thought no victory was possible after calling the AAVs in for extract.

Well atleast Taconic didn't die in vain, God I laughed when I realized dyslexi came in the forest not too long after Taco died and started calling out for Boganova and then he just walked up to him.

question for the arma pros or dslyecxi the man himself: when you blackout or fall unconscious, how long do you usually stay like that? and do you get a black screen during that time?

To be honest when you're actually playing its a lot more tense whilst you're unconscious. You'll be able to see some stuff so you can watch what is happening around you and all the sounds of the battle around you are muffled so all you can do is wait, hope and try to work out what the hell is going on .-.
On the other hand you can have times where its not tense and you'd just wish you would bleed out. For example, I was on a patrol through the streets of Takistan. We were ambushed and I took the first round and fell backwards into some rubble. The rest of the squad then started moving whilst fighting and some people stepped over me but didn't see me... About ten minutes later I bled out >-
Duration of unconsciousness can vary, depending on conditions. Sometimes it's a minute, sometimes more. It might be never.

Question: "Camera.sqs" I cant get it to work in multiplayer, but the Camera.sqs script works in singleplayer.... But how are you doing it in multiplayer game ? also from the Hindsight video how did you review the game!?!?!?

They both play arma but devildoggamer plays way more casual... its a complete different experience

Is Arma 2 better than 3? I have 3 but not sure if I should look into getting 2 also.
It's great to have both cuz they offer a different experience. ARMA 2 is great for Cold War and Iraq war mods IMO and ARMA 3 for our day stuff or future. Maybe it's just me though.
ArmA 3 is pretty incomplete right now. If you wanna play with a group, I suggest 2 because it is several years old and has pretty much all the bugs ironed out. I actually find A2 less clunky than 3, but that's probably just because I've played that game for so long. However, be warned that pretty much every server on A2 is either "Life" mods or DayZ, and good A2 groups are few and far in between.
Arma 3 is good, but for the scale of missions that Shacktac does it still needs some work. For most peoples use of Arma, Arma 3 is probably the better game
I wonder how after years of playing arma you did not get bored with it? Sure there is different mission, different weapons but after all its about running and shooting. I am done with arma after about 250hrs dunno how you still find it fun.
It's about stories, challenges and the fun of interacting with people that share the same ideals as you.

pretty sure it's because performance takes a massive shit with too many players/AI on board.
They play coop on Arma 2 and PvP on Arma 3, last Dslyecxi said.
You speak as if he doesn't play A3 at all.
A2 for Coop, A3 for Adversarial. The netcode for A3 isn't good enough to have 120+ players AND AI running amuck.
