*What gorgeous projects Lisa❣️💕 While I have seen many upcyclers paint over silver-plated trays, this is the 1st time I have seen anyone leave an unpainted silver border around the edge of the tray and also leave the back unpainted...and I rather like it❣️🤍 Everyone has their favorite "go to" paint color. Not hard to understand why "buttercream" is a color you use frequently❣️🤍💕🤍 Not only is it beautiful for all of the reasons you described, BUT IT SELLS, which IS THE BOTTOM LINE, LOL.🤣🤣🤣 And being from Minnesota, am I the only one who loves ❤️ the way Lisa softly says, "buttercream" with that darling Southern drawl⁉️⁉️ Hahahahaha❣️👍🏼😁🤪🤣 The ONLY drawback I experience when you say "buttercream" many times during the course of a video is the HUGE CRAVING I GET FOR A BIG SLICE OF CAKE 🎂 🥮 WITH BUTTERCREAM FROSTING AND AN ICE COLD GLASS OF MILK, LOL❣️🤣🤣🤣🙈🙊🤣*
Lisa, I really like everything you showed us and I cannot choose a favorite. I guess the tray or the bottle would have a tie vote. Since you’ve introduced us to the beautiful color Buttercream I had to buy some for myself. I love it and it has become my go-to color for a lot of my projects. I don't know about everyone else but I LOVE the color buttercream. I think it's a perfect neutral color and when you pair it with some of the other colors of paint you use, the project is simply gorgeous. This color you mixed is so pretty a more feminine shade. Love your vignette. The hang tags today are beautiful. I love seeing how other people come up with such beautiful ideas of their own. Thank you Lisa for sharing this one too.
Im not tired of buttercream color, I just get tickled. I know what color you will go to, like I know another lady will go with a milk paint in a certain green. Another lady goes to a gosh awful yellow. I love that new color you mixed. Hugs 😊❤
I always smile when I hear you say buttercream I always imagine you buy that by gallon not little pots ! And I agree great base colour and that blue was lovely but think the buttercream as base colour was absolutely best choice

Thanks for this video. I love the green--I use many versions of it in my own decor. The bottle is great--I never would have thought of putting a mold around the top as you did. I think I have that IOD stamp and never used it--gotta find it now!! xx
These are all so cute. Wonderful ideas. Never thought of painting over the silver-plated items. Regarding your color choices, I'm thinking that some people may not realize that while you are showing us your creative ideas, these are also your retail items for your store & you are marketing your items to what will sell best. From what I've seen & read, a store or both is more likely to sell decor that has more of a neutral color pallet than more brightly colored. And while I understand some of your viewers may want more variety with your color choices, at the end of the day you are doing what you not only like but will actually sell. Most if not all of your ideas can always be adapted to other color choices, so while I too may not "resonate" with a color or style I am more interested in all the different ways to transform the items, as you have really cute & creative ideas 🙂
I really love the frame idea of using paint instead of wax in the crevices. Also, can you tell me what medium you used in the mould around the top of the bottle?
