Kurt Angle's rise to the top is one of my favorite stories. My favorite moment of his was when he "interviewed" The Rock. That segment was so damn hilarious and I suggest you watch it if you haven't. Angle had all the tools to succeed and he used them to the best of his abilities. What did you think of Kurt Angle's sudden rise to the top? DX Video is next btw.
My updated top 5: Ric “the nature boy” flair “The icon”Sting “The ultimate opportunist” Edge “The heartbreak kid” Shawn Michaels & lastly “The Rabbid Wolverine” CHRIS BENOIT!
There's so much that I'm hoping you cover from 2000 and 2001 like the invasion, Vince putting Linda in a sanitarium after asking her for a divorce, and a whole lot more. 2000 and 2001 was two of the most chaotic years in the WWF...
Kurt Angle was born for greatness during this time seeing as though he had became King Of The Ring of 2000 and captured the European Championship and Intercontinental Championship and held them until Wrestlemania 16 where he lost them to Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit respectively losing the IC belt to Benoit and European Title to Jericho then at No Mercy 2000 he would capture the WWF Championship pinning The Rock
He became a triple crown winner winning the IC belt the European belt and the wwe belt plus winning the king of the ring in a very short time for him to do all of that in one year show they where heavenly invested in Kurt angle not many wrestlers past and present got push that fast
Kurt angle is one of my favorites I grew up watching this man in his prime in 2003 to 2006 and his tna days. This man can work with anyone and I mean anyone.
I’ve Been thinking and since these vids are so good in detail, you should talk about Randy Orton and Undertaker’s feud in 2005 - whenever you feel like doing a ruthless aggression video so this is just an idea
Randy Orton and The Undertaker had a good match at Wrestlemania 21 and somewhat of a decent match at Summerslam 2005 and then their final match on Smackdown(what I think is their final match)
Kurt Angle had one of the greatest rookie years of all time. His outstanding in-ring and mic skills helped him to one of WWE's top stars in just 1 year. He finished off 2000 by being WWE champion and main event player. What an epic rookie year for Angle
Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey and The Undertaker has some of the greatest rookie years in WWE history don’t forget The Undertaker captured the WWF Championship from Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle defeated The Rock at No Mercy 2000 for the WWF Championship and Ronda Rousey defeated Alexa Bliss at Summerslam 2018 to capture the RAW Women’s Championship
@@tehjboney3291 We also can't forget Brock Lesnar's iconic rookie year in 2002 He defeated Rock at Summerslam for the WWE championship, made Hogan pass out, defeated Taker in HIAC, and being King of the Ring winner. 2002 was the year of Brock
It's crazy you made this video, because in the last few days I have been watching a lot of Kurt Angle from 2000. In my search bar on youtube it literally says, "kurt angle wwf champion 2000" lol his theme song is one of my favorites
Man 2000 WWF was so good. Angles rise and the pushing of guys like Jericho and Benoit along with the awesome tag team scene really strengthened the undercard of the company and led to great ppvs. And yeah taker vs angle at fully loaded was meh but that show was great. If taker vs angle was on the level of the 03 and 06 matches thats the best B ppv ever.
Nobody had a better Rookie Year than Kurt Angle and I personally told him this Undefeated Streak then Eurocontinental Champion lost both without being pinned or submitted then Won King Of The Ring then gets the WWF Championship and beats all the top guys in one match Hell In A Cell his rookie year is gonna be hard to top
The difference Between Kurt Angle Rookie year and Ronda Rousey Rookie year was it didn’t felt forced. Storylines/build ups/character development/obstacles and payoff were better and naturally genuine built with Kurt Angle Vs Ronda Rousey being forced in on a debut that was suppose to spotlight Auska Royal Rumble win, a pivotal moment for her being overshadowed by Rousey. Despite Rousey rookie run was impressive but it didn’t feel natural and genuine like Kurt Angles rookie run...
17:13 In the Angle vs Triple H storyline Stephanie was originally supposed to leave him for Kurt but good old Paul Levesque got jealous and insecure in real life and said Stephanie wouldn't leave a guy like him for a guy like Kurt.
Fun fact: Kurt Angle’s theme was actually used by then-WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter in 1997. If you believe me, watch his encounter with Triple H in a Boot Camp match at In Your House: D-Generation X.
Normally agree with the majority of your views. As a fan who watched at the time Kurt was seen as a goofball which was why people didn’t see him as a main event talent. He was entertaining and great and went onto be great. Also at the end when you said he was bigger than the Rock in the invasion angle no chance lol he was great but never the man at any point in the Austin/Rock era. He got great ovations later because of things linked to the United States and that’s why he was celebrated and the people cheered for the WWF over WCW. Hence the night Ric Flair showed up he was right back to being boo’d. My rant over lol but keep up the great content!
I never was a fan of angle until he turned he became the wrestling machine in 2005 and became more serious but he did have a great rookie year I will give him that
Do a video on how bray Wyatts the fiend gimmick is way ahead of its time like...the multi personality thing and how he pays tribute to Waylon mercy with mercy the buzzard. Waylon mercy was basically the original version of bray Wyatt but back in 95
They made him seem like a babyface initially because they knew he was gonna get booed. If it happened nowadays, they'd still book him as a good guy despite the hate.
@@wrestlingspremier he was boo'd because he was a heel. His gimmick was to be obnoxiously vanilla like a face and it worked. He never was a face in those first few weeks
@WrestlingsPremier, 1) What if Kurt Angle had signed with ECW in the 90's? 2) What if Taz had signed with wCw in 2000 instead of the WWF? 3) What if New Jack (and Mufasa) had signed with wCw in 1999?
I'll say Brock's first year is better. He beat top stars within 6 months and became WWE Champion, won Royal Rumble and main evented Mania. Kurt DID not win the Royal Rumble nor main event Mania his first year. He also did not beat the top stars clean like Brock did.

Calvin Houston summerslam 2001!
Please make a video on "The rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin". He is the leader of the attitude era and deserves a video tribute.
It’s crazy how Kurt achieved more in his rookie year than most wwe wrestlers now
He did more in that time than a lot of guys from any era.
*most wwe wrestlers ever*

Kurt Angle is the greatest of all time
Good on the mic
Good face
Good heel
Five star matches
In ring performer possibly but the goat heLL naw 😂it’s Austin or cena fasho

Kurt Angle was a traditional mat wrestler seeing as though he put a lot of traditional mat wrestling into the character
He actually became a triple crown champion in 2002 when he won the Tag Team titles with Benoit.
Kurt Angle had by far the one of the best rookie years in WWE history.
Oh its True...
Its damn True!!!
Kurt Angle literally had the best rookie year of any wrestler in WWE next to Brock lesnar & AJ Styles
Video idea: -John Cena vs Shawn Michaels 2007
-DX reunion 2006
-Teddy long vs John Laurinaitis 2012
-MNM Tag team run

Justin Sharpe that feud lasted like the whole year almost
When you realized that kurt angle was already grandslam champion in his first year. That's impressive.
I hated him when I was younger. Of course, now I appreciate him now. He is one of the fastest learners in wrestling history.

Kurt angle was always one of the most versatile wrestlers of all time. I always thought he was one of those guys who any era would’ve been over 🤷🏽♂️
Really liking how you summarised this. Keep up the good work!
Sup wrestling premiere
Wow Owan Hart vs Kurt Angle. What a match that would be

Henry cejudo probably used kurt angles character as motivation for his own UFC personality
I can see that.
Why does nobody ever mention his drastic voice change during his WWE career? 🤔🤔
How did how voice change?
Wrestlingspremier Great video And without a doubt 2000 was the year of Kurt angle.
Kurt is so underrated. His wrestling Machine time was awesome. Such a beast
Awesome Video Today Man,Kurt Angle Is Truly A Legend!!🙌🙌😎🐐🐐🐐

MF DOOM (RIP) would agree with you. He had a lyric about Kurt Angle's rookie year.
Kurt the goat
Ironically his wwf debut match was against stasiak who was angle's second opponent in his wrestling career (facing each other in WWA 1998)
Kurt Angle best years 2003 and 2006

Do a video on jeff hard yheel run in tna 2010
Kurt angle was not a failed babyface turned heel in his 1st few weeks. It was intended for him to be a heel with a face gimmick.
