I was so disturbed by the way Israel treating their neighbours. Eye for an Eye sums it up. Being a stern Christian, at a point I questioned my own faith, why Jesus why. Later, I figured out these are just a humane things just like we saw in the book of Isaiah. I’m not judgemental, but I feel this is one instance of bad Israel like there were many said in the Bible. I appreciate the author for such a wonderful interpretation.

What is Israel, it is not a place, its people who are righteous and fear the Lord. That's my way of understanding.
