Off Grid camping adventure at Woodleigh Station Stay, camp site 12, in the Table Lands, Northern Queensland, Australia. A lovely drive from Townsville to the township of Ravenshoe, which is the highest Town in the State of Queensland. With a glimpse at the pretty Cardwell water front along the way, before arriving at a beautiful Riverside spot in Nature, we had all to our self. Only $30.oo per car, per nite.
With 12 picturesque camp sites along the River
the Family that runs the Station Stays on the property has owned the land for a hundred years now.
Just a hop skip & jump away from the Mt Gibson Fossicking area - which we adventure to in a following clip - not for the faint at heart as the four wheel off road tracks are quite treacherous 😨
And no crocodiles, a rarity in North Queensland, as it is the highest town in Queensland so probably too cold for the crocs.
It's a lovely drive north with gorgeous landscapes & sea views & cruising past the Wind Power Farm.
