    Feel free to ask any questions, I'll be reading every comment!
    I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
    Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

    If you grind the paint off in areas you intend to weld, it will in turn make the weld a little stronger and prettier. Also if you grind paint where the ground clamp is, that would help as well. It would be ideal to grind the whole thing but that’s a lot of work lol. Mess with your gas settings on the mig too

    Hi, when building pyrolysis reactors the main issue I run into as well is sealing. Are there any products, epoxies, glues, or whatnot that have worked well for you before? I've tried oatey cement before even and it breaks down rather quickly and when I weld I get holes in the metal as I have an ark welder and I'm used to MIG. Thanks

    Hey bro, I just wanted to say, you're extremely intelligent. I've been thinking of pyrolosis for a long time. Your idea is very intriguing. In the world of quacks who think that HHO will run their car, this is really refreshing to see someone actually do something innovative in their backyard.
    I have a few questions,
    #1 Traditionally pyrolysis uses some type of gas to generate enough heat to start the process, I always thought you could just use pyrolysis oil as fuel and essentially create a perpetual motion machine. Anyway, my question is, is your machine efficient? How much electricity will it take to generate one gallon of pyrolysis oil?
    #2 Can microwaves be used with other materials like tires?
    #3 Can you use the syngas to power a natural gas generator to run the magnetrons or will it need to be compressed first? Maybe power a diesel generator with preheated pyrolysis oil and inject the syn gas through the intake to use less pyrolysis oil.
    Fuck this is so awesome. You rule dude

    • @naturejab
      @naturejab  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1- Do not know efficencies, need to get the numbers and measurements.
      I'm not sure about perpetual motion stuff, but it's highly unlikely
      2 - Microwaves can do this to ANYTHING!
      3- Yes, the syngas most definitely can be used in a generator
      Thanks!

    I dont know what kind of welder you use, but when you can afford it, it might be worth it to pick up an old, used, stick welding transformer. Stick welding is a really cheap ancient welding technique, all it needs is a big ass transformer and some welding stick, and skill. But I bet that with some practice you could make better sealing welds than whatever your welder is doing. I am no welding expert but those welds look like pinhole city to me.

    Steel drum walls are quite thin and will eventually degrade.
    Mark 4 needs an old propane tank.

    • @cadencruce2153
      @cadencruce2153 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the microwaves bounce of the metal pretty well but if not I think the old propane tank is a great idea

    • @zyxwvutsrqponmlkh
      @zyxwvutsrqponmlkh ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@cadencruce2153 Its mostly that it will rust fast, likely not too much from the inside as the oxygen will be consumed but the outside will rust away. When you get steel hot it can rust very quickly. Some high temp paint would probably help a lot but the propane tank is vastly more thick. Besides we all want to see him cook a 200 gallon batch of oil out of this thing. You also get a square cube law thing going on where you keep much more heat in a larger container due to a better volume to surface area metric.
