This is a solid machine, I usually feed 1/2 carrot through after greens/cucumber/zucchini or citrus to keep it flowing properly. You can also recycle those green pulp balls a second time eg expensive organic kale or chard are distinct pulp balls, run them through twice!
I have an old juicer. I think it is a centerfuge one. It is a pain to clean so I haven't used it in a long time but this one looks great. I have heard you can use it to make nut butters, frozen treats and even pasta and nut milks. Have you tried using it in those ways before? I think I want to get one of these. :)
I've not long had this machine but am now at a wall, I started taking Japanese Chlorella/spirulina and it would seem that's all the body requires then some so I'm not questioning my need to have the Omega. I'd appreciate some feedback on this please.
I have a similar juice but not the same brand i have a problem with kiwis, mangos or anything of the same texture it seems to sometimes overflow when i push down with the tamper and not push pulp out properly does yours do this? any tips?
I have the same model. It is rarely necessary to use the tamper side with the O ring. Significantly easier to just use the other end with most things. Never had a problem with leak back. What I would like to know is if it is true that the high speed centrifugal models greatly reduce the nutrition content due to oxidation as well has high speed blenders such as Vitamix? Does anyone know of any scientifically based studies on that not just hearsay?
Only thing I don't like about putting carrot in my juices is the fact of it turns Brown. Carrot Apple juice or carrot Orange juice is a nice juice for carrots to go into.
Got my 8006 on 12/27 of this year and the drum seems to have some play after locked in place. Is it supposed to be that way? I thought it should fit snugly after locked on correctly, auger and chute.
mine does the same thing. i think it's normal. the pulp comes out super dry so i don't think there is anything loose in there. it's definitely juicing things rights so i'm quite happy with it.
I've been juicing for less than a week - at least once a day if not several times a day. I have a BIG problem though - APPLES! Apples turn to mush, don't juice very well, pulp doesn't come out efficiently and I even overheated the juicer without realizing it (the first time I used it!). HELP!!!!!!! Wrong kind of apples? I've been using Gala apples because they are my favorite to munch on. I run it in reverse for a bit, then forward again, sometimes it helps, sometimes it just manages to push the mush up the chute. Please, please, please tell me what I am doing wrong.
I use it to juice medical marijuana fan leaves. I have MS and the juice helps with the symptoms. Fan Leaves juiced with this type of juicer does not heat the jucie up,. therefore there is no THC effect and you do not get high. I have found that it works very well since it is one of the only juicier with a double screen so all of the moisture is extracted.
Thank you for showing how it handles the various vegetable types, especially ginger and cucumber.

use only Granny Smith apples everything else doesn't juice well
The trick is follow the apples with carrots, something hard.
