- Andy Timmons lit the 2017 Dallas International Guitar Show on fire!
Andy Timmons has captivated fans for nearly 3 decades, beginning with his work with the band Danger Danger. Since then he has released a long list of solo records, performed on two records with Kip Winger, a handful with Simon Phillips, as well as a couple with Ted Pearce. He also recorded a version of the Duke Nukem theme song "Grabbag" for the 2011 release of Duke Nukem Forever. Enjoy this performance from the 2017 Dallas International Guitar Festival!

I've never heard Andy Timmons sound bad...He's always been one of the best player/composer guitarists out there...Never got the full recognition he deserved.
one of the best guitarist who ever lived....recognition or not,his music shows that he's truly a god
every note he plays has his signature on it...Only a handful of guitarists in the world are capable of that.

I never heard of Andy Timmons before. Saw him backing up Uli Jon Roth in 2016. Absolutely blew me away. Stole the show. And I love Uli. Timmons was, and is amazing ❤❤❤❤❤!!!!

I've had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times. He is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. a true gentleman.

I"ve had the honor of watching Andy perform several times . Getting to see this magnificent guitarist , rock out , up close & personal , at local music stores is indeed other wordly ! Words cant describe how good Andy really is ... on top of being a musical genious Andys humble & down to earth .

Felipe Montoya yes sir. The music school he went to has him come in sometimes. It’s UNT 10 minutes from me. Saw him near The Guitar Sanctuary in McKinney TX a few yrs ago. Packed house. He came out to see Eric Johnson before his set at The Granda Theater. I was going to see if Eric would sign my PRS then ran into Andy as he was going in and asked him to sign it. No problem. Happy, content guy. So down to earth. The program at UNT seems to put out some humble very talented players. I got to make a CD of the sr program students played at the end of the yr. need to get up there more to the performances. Gold mine for the ears!

Agree. This bass player is beyond, “so good”…super dig how he plays, “through the strings”, killer, killer, killer tone….and he’s playing the neck PU and pulling that heavy, tight tone….he’s so good man…seriously

I've said it a hundred times, you can be the best guitarist in the world but you need a song to really connect with people. Not everybody is a connoisseur of great musicianship. That said, I gotta have more cowbell.

I'm really starting to believe Andy Timmons has the best electric guitar tone in the history of guitar music. Even Eric Johnson's face melts when considering his tone. Unreal.

My dad showed me this album when I was young , I listen to alot of different types of music , but this song has always stayed as one of my favorites , i hope to see him live someday
