Battle of Aughrim Visitor Centre Reopening Reactions

The Battle of Aughrim Visitor Centre reopened its doors last week at its reopening launch night with a real buzz of excitement in the air amongst all in attendance. We spoke to Cathaoirleach Peter Keaveney Cllr. Dermot Connolly and Abbie McGowan part of the Cath Eachroma 1691 group as they discussed the significance of the centre to the people of Aughrim, the recent refurbishments to the centre and looked forward to the summer ahead. The centre is open now to 4th September with opening times from:
Tuesday to Saturday, 10.30am - 4.30pm
Sunday 2.00pm - 5.00pm
