I'm not gonna lie, is so sad that the Traxxas E-Revo got discontinued. I have one right now, and I never had this much fun with a RC Car. Is it really unique. I didn't even knew that it got discontinued till' now. I hope Traxxas makes a E-Revo 3.0. It has so much potential to be one of the best 6s Bashers. I'm gonna buy some upgrades for my E-Revo while I still can.
To be honest in my opinion, the traxxas e revo 2.0 is the one vehicle that traxxas under priced for what it offers. The thing is a beast!!!! Unique designed. I would pay the same price as the sledge, the reason why traxxas discontinued it, cause I would hurt the sales of the sledge. I honestly love the e revo. My ultimate basher.
Yes, but the stock center diff is locked. You need to purchase the center diff, and you can adjust the fluid weight. It really helps the acceleration. Check out our video where we did upgrades on the Merv to fix clicking issues.
Love your channel Guys! You guys are very honest And knowledgeable . You guys Obviously love your traxxas Cars. I'm a Huge fan of Traxxas But you guys Are always honest about Strengths and weaknesses which all R c cards have . Anyone in this hobby knows if you don't Like to fix things or upgrade things. This probably isn't the hobby for you. In my opinion if you prefer to just drive a vehicle hard traxxas is Probably the most durable RC on the market! Love your content!
One of the most unique and fun driving experiences. Now in a world where every basher drives like a Maxx, the revo and summit have unmatched performance nd personality. Have 4 summits and not letting them go, still looking for a e revo 2.0 in good condition
I got a 10 year old V1 E-REVO brushless edition from a friend a week ago. It's pretty bulletproof the way he has it setup. It's taken a few 50+ mph tumbles and survived. I've only run 3 1/2 packs through it so far, though. Running 2 3s 5000mah lipos. I'd like to start running it on 4s, but it came with 6s.
I love my E-revo 2.0, had it for 2 years now and mostly run it on a homemade grass track. It is so sad that they are discontinuing it, i think its the coolest looking rc and i love the suspension on it. ofc it will break if i run it at 100% all the time, i wouldnt trade away that power to make it more durable
The E-Revo has been an all time Dream RC Car and favourite of mine, I've never had one but desperately want it and plan to get one in the future but seeing that the production ended breaks my heart!
It was a very surprising decision that left a lot of people upset. I think there’s still a decent amount to buy on websites like Amazon or Craigslist. Hopefully you can get one!
We recently got the Kraton 6s EXB and so far it has a lot of potential. We have been experiencing unfortunate breaks that aren’t supposed to be common. Once the durability is no longer an issue, it’s an amazing powerful truck.
miss my e revo but I felt like I was always breaking it and it was so annoying to work on compared to others lol.. ... edit and after watching you pretty much confirmed all my thoughts
@@redbanditracing I did love it for a speed car/bash. Ran it down the road at 60-70 mph and hit a few small jumps when needed. But when hitting some big jumps ... prepare to do some repairs lol.
I got one on favebook marketplace in good condition along with a 2wd slash with aftermarket parts and batteries for 250$ and im stoked ,unfortunately the mamba monster 2 that was in the revo died for some reason so im replacing with a max 6 g2 and It'll be ready to RIP
I've had a few E Revo 2.0's the last several years. I've concluded the design is bad. There's no real estate on top since tranny and motor are in the middle plus those shocks being horizontal take up room. AND you can't get longer motor because the rear shock mount is right up against the 42x72 motor. Battery compartments are too thin also....its not a well designed rc car.

You definitely have time to buy parts, but it’s a good idea to stock up. A 3.0 would be great if they fix some of the issues.

Question for the mini E-revo 1/16 I heard putting grease or oil in the center diff should help putting that power to the ground

YES SEASON 2! Love the rusty

Thank you, glad you enjoy it. We agree, Traxxas make some of the best bashers.

It’ll be worth finding. I agree, the Revo family all have very unique driving styles.
Canada hobbies has revo 2.0. Just buy one
Just curious what country you're in - I have a brand new Erevo 2.0 that I might be selling.
@ USA, but I found a brand new e revo 2.0 for $380 a few months ago so I’m set

If you can get the E-Revo past its durability problem, it’s one of the best cars on the market. 4s would definitely be easier to handle.

One of the best cars. If run correctly, it’s durable enough to do a lot of things!
Cool rc battery compartment was a terrible design limits u to small batteries if it ever comes back they need a must upgrade.

@@redbanditracing It was surprising indeed, I hope they Atleast release an E Revo 3.0!
E-Revo 1.0 my favorite RC of all-time. Ima get kraton version 6 since i cant get 1 of these. Hopefully its just as fun.

Ive never had a Revo, own 2 Mervs. They were purchased used and highly modded (rpm, integy, gearing)
60mph👀

If some of those weak points were fixed, and a bit easier to work on, it would be a great car.

Good deal!
What? It's discontinued?
Unfortunately
The price was fine, it should not have cost more
