A few weeks ago, I was trapped in a downward spiral going to a bad place. One of Ben's videos randomly popped up in my recommendations. I have since watched all the videos oldest to newest on his channel. Ben has given me a whole new outlook on life and saved me. I aspire to become as energetic and go-getting as he is.
I agree, a full 60 minute show weekly, as if it was a TV show, maybe even try to give it a reality TV show look with the name bars, transitions between scenes, all of that bullshit lol
Wouldn't work. The reason 60min shows work on TV is because people are lazy to turn the channels. On TH-cam we search different videos, receive notifications while watching. Meaning we are more likely not to watch the whole thing. 14-16min is the sweet spot

Ben you’ve been a huge influence to me in the real estate space. I started wholesaling when I was 19… closed my first deal for $15,000 and it proved to me that it was real, I went on to close 9 more deals that year at an average of 12k a month. I made just over 6 figures my first year in the game and now am consistently doing over 130k a year at 21. I bought 3 properties and subleased 4 properties to use as air bnb’s in my 2nd year. I now live on a large boat off the coast of Florida. Got my real estate license, am in law school and getting my pilot license at the same time right now. Goal is to buy a plane by mid 2023. This year I’m close to doubling what I’ve done in the past years. The only thing keeping me from scaling is keeping things in my control which I know is something I need to get over.
My favorite thing about these guys; a long time ago they made a pretty obviously fake/scripted episode, and most people in the comment section said it sucked and they wanted a REAL reality show, and after that, they never made another fake/scripted episode. They LISTENED to their audience and kept it real. Now it's evolved into an amazing channel with over half a million followers!

It's crazy in Florida running a 220 room hotel making millions only pays a little more then a factory worker in kansas and the Midwest. Many factories start at 56k here.
The thing is that lots of people would prefer running the hotel over factory working even for the same salary (because of the prestige etc and more interesting job).. So that means you do not have to make that salary extra high

Hello Ben et all, nice vlog again! A General Manager of a Marriott property like you own should make around $110K plus benefits, not $85K...Also contact the cruise line companies and offer them a huge discount package for there employees and clients that might want to stay there the day before there cruise or the day after (or both) with free drink coupons. Offer free shuttle service to the ports too! Just an idea. Lastly, get a microwave/combo convection oven installed on the boat.
I was sitting here thinking, if I offered any of my GM's $85 + housing I would be laughed out of the room, sure my places are bigger, but $85k is way low. Marathon is close to a 3 hour drive from Miami, 3 1/2 to Ft Lauderdale, no line is going to try to sell a package at that distance, good idea though.
"I buy things based on people I know." If you have learned nothing from all of these LFS videos - THIS is the lesson to take. You will go through a hundred jobs, make thousands of sales or whatever. But when you find people that are highly competent, looking to have everyone involved succeed AND are No-BS then stick with them. Real estate is just a VEHICLE for wealth than Ben is a master at. PEOPLE make sure that vehicle runs flawlessly. Personal example. I just went from working at someplace 9 months ago, good place, good co-workers but not my style. Everyone liked me and knew I was top of the industry at what I did. Long story short I went from $95,000/yr salary +$35k in equity to contracting for $200/hr at roughly 40-50hrs a week. I've made the company nearly $1M in the 2 months I've worked and shown them plans to save a couple $M in the next quarter. PEOPLE MAKE MONEY. Surround yourselves with good PEOPLE.
You can always throw a tow line behind when underway to tow the tender/ski and then when you are getting prepped for docking have someone jump off and drive the piece getting towed. Saves the headache of land towing and some money. Great video as always!

People don't realize that. They come, and leave within a year when they find out 95% of jobs only pay $11-$13 an hour.
