Man, i listened to this song a thousand times when the album came out. I still get goosebumps when i hear the refrain. I love those guys. There is at least one song on every album which has the perfect mixture of brutal metal riffs and an epic refrain!
I think that Transgression's biggest problem is that to accept it, we would have had to accept that we would never get a proper follow up to Demanufacture and Obsolete. So, in itself, it's fine. But nobody wanted Wolbers to remain the guitarist.
@@benpotter4905 I wouldn't say he didn't write anything great on both album, but many songs suffer from very dull moments or uninspired riffs. (Drones, Default Judgement, Cyberwaste, Act of God, Moment of Impact, Echo of My Scream, Empty Vision, 540,000 Degrees)
If we know those times while listening 2006/2008/20010 we all stop "corona-virus" pandemic because with many conciouss people we can create new world, new system, with Love, Peace & Understanding. No hate, no war anymore. 💪💚✊
This is the first Fear Factory album I ever bought and fell in love with. I learned every song on this album on guitar when I was 15 years old. This album holds a special place in my heart. I fell in love with a bunch of the choruses and such.
I know the album seems inconsistent, compared to their others, but there's not any songs that are bad, really. Just different. This song is king though. It's a shame it gets swept under the rug with the rest of the album. FF doesn't even offer to sell Transgression or Archetype on their site anymore.
Both the labels that carried Archetype (Liquid 8) and Transgression (Calvin) are no longer around... meaning that these albums are out of print, hence why they aren't being sold.
I've never been a huge fan of Transgression as an album, personally... but "Contagion" is definitely one of the stronger tracks. Had it had the production value that was seen even on Archetype, I suspect it could've been viewed as an all timer for the band.
Those who say bad mix. Well they also over produced alot of the past records. An could never re produce the sound live. This actually sounds like a realistic sound. that can be pulled off live. They had good songs on both archetype an transgression.
I do like the transgression album, and know there were trying a different production sound, but I don't think Toby Wright brought out the strengths of the band with his production. I wonder what the album would have sounded like if Rhys Fulber produced it.
@@Urstadt18those guys should have been real careful about the independent media during that time period if they had gone to Nuclear Blast or At least Sony music we’d have these albums
Transgression and Archetype were not well understood when they were released! I always swore by them and think they were onto something pretty cool! Should that lineup had kept going probably they would still be releasing excellent shit. The lineup that followed this phase was also good, with the acclaimed Mechanize. The current line-up is shit; I particularly dislike the new drummer.. He is not well suited to the band
+Bruno Tolosa I was with you all the way until your part about the current line-up. I see this was a year ago though, what did you think about Genexus?

fear factorys most underrated song
Transgression is a fucking banging album, I don't give a fuck what anyone says, this song hits hard.

@@bubbanstix2536I actually disagree. I feel like Wolbers has a unique style of writing/ playing than Dino.

This is whats happening around the world right now 🔥🌐🔥.

Once again fear factory predicts the future lol

The entire album sounds like a demo. But the songs are really nice and catchy and dreamy sometimes
Chorus helping me when I feel down.

I actually really like this album. 🤘🏼😈
Me too! So many people shit on it but secretly they enjoy it.
👍
Same it annoys me when people say it sucks. It’s mostly just hardcore ff fans who say that cause it sounds different than their usual stuff
I know the album seems inconsistent, compared to their others, but there's not any songs that are bad, really. Just different. This song is king though.

You can thank Dino for that.
This is my ass whoopin jams dude!!!!

@@ThunderTHR Yup. Dino can't touch em.
Archetype and Transgression are so underrated
especially archetype, imo its their best
@@CommanderSp00kyarchetype is sooo good. It would help if they were more available on streaming
Agree, but imho Archetype is probably the best record (as seen in its entirety) along with Mechanize.
Awesome song. I used to play TONS of Killzone for the PS2 to this one :) Fuck I miss that game :
Wow...this is INCREDIBLE
Epic song!
Man this my fav song by them👊

Love all ff albums!
i love this
I like when burt sings this style
I was listening to this song a couple of months ago and did the huah while I was in the gym
second best song on the album
So, what's the best?

This is why I like drum sounds that don’t sound over produced
Archetype is the ish 🤘
Perfect song for a marine to listen before being sent to a fucking war. It's almost a sedative.
This should have been on the movie "Contagion"
Great song fuckers
First song to listen to in 2018 #fearfactory#newbreed
new breed is demanufacture, though
02:47 part is one of the heaviest shit they've ever played.
Corona virus theme song.

Bluey RAV's song, he wont last forever, but he will be my shooting car and bugout vehicle
Are there differently mixed versions of this album floating around? The mix here sounds better than I remember...
Covid19 main theme song
Way to real these days
*Too
2:47 through 3:18 is BEAST!
🍺😎🤘
The hardest of the core.
why was this removed from spotify?
Dino said it has to do woth the record company that still owns the rights to this album and Archetype.
Yea, it used to be on Google music until they got rid of it
@@Urstadt18those guys should have been real careful about the independent media during that time period if they had gone to Nuclear Blast or At least Sony music we’d have these albums
AMEN 💥🙏🔥💯💯💖🖖💥💖💯💥 bring them back into good health in the name of Jesus H Christ AMEN 💥🏁
It is incredibly annoying that I can't get transgression on any streaming service, and of course my car doesn't have a CD player
Found gold by dude@@z1DEv_ag
I prefer the other version that's on Rainbow Six Lockdown. Good song though
Where do I find that version?
in my Rainbow Six Vegas this song was play in instal time )
❤🩹
Some good songs done in by bad production
I really wish this album was on iTunes 😢

i agree with topic bout em 2 albums n fear factory are aĺl band
Im sorry...this one is like a Horror Movie....Scarry as fuck!
Like a better pantera
They can't touch Pantera buddy
This is its own thing.
Ironic because Burton C Bell is a Texas native
Shouldn't have to say it again.....
the last actual good song on this album after this it went downhill and rebounded with moment of impact
Ladies and gentlemen, their “worst” album
Underrated album. Terrible mix. Sounds like a demo.
