"Mmm... Delicious" he says with coffee brewed for 30 seconds lmao

I wouldn’t say that the coffee is the main part of this concoction. XD

How they brew it in Puerto Rico. Get a small pan and add a mixture of milk and coffee grounds. Bring to a simmer and add sugar. Pour the mixture through a filter and drink while it's still scalding hot. My 102 year great grandmother won't take her coffee any other way.

People should know that Morgenthaler is the FIRST person to say that the name is kind of dumb, and that nobody really knows exactly how or why it got its name. He certainly didn't invent it. But it's a delicious drink that's fun and flashy.

I'm guessing the logic is just the caramelization of the sugar around the rim. Feels kind of like a Spanish culinary move.

Southern Spain, in Murcia, is known for a similar drink called an "asiatico" which includes coffee, condensed milk, cognac and a few drops of licor 43, dash of lime and cinnamon. So that's probably why it's a Spanish coffee

Nico JP the thing is that he says it was invented in Portland but he still calls it "spanish" (i'm andalusian btw)

To anyone confused, this drink is actually called "carajillo" in Spanish, and it's basically coffee with liquor. This version is apparently the common American version, derived from the Cuban version (hence the rum).

Drive your F-350 an hour to the pub, order two of these while playing the video lottery terminal-congratulations, you've completed the government solvency trifecta.
_Canadians already pay a significant amount of tax on the liquor they buy: according to Wudrick, up to _*_80 percent_*_ on spirits, 65-70 per cent on wine and 50 per cent on beer._
_In 2015, gasoline taxes in Canada represented on average 38 cents per litre, which is approximately _*_35%_*_ of the pump price._
Buying Bacardi 151 doesn't help, either, because Canadian liquor tax is computed on base alcohol content.

hubers 'invented' it as a spectacle, after using a recipe from another bar.
    its an americanized carajillo.
