In case anyone is wondering,
the reason why the piano version sounds slightly off is because of quarter-tones.
Some notes (not all) in the original are on a frequency that is actually not a full note.
You know how inbetween two full notes there is a half-tone?
As it turns out, between the full note and the half-tone above (or below) there is a frequency that could be considered a quarter-tone!
This is annoying for notation and might be difficult to actually play, depending on software.
A good example of songs using quarter-tone steps is "U.N.Owen was her?" and other songs from touhou.
