Having someone sketch shy guy is fine, having that sketch and staring at it 24/7 won't upset him; but, let's say you see him in the background of a photo... the instant you look at him in that photo he'll turn aggressive and hunt you down. Drawings of shy guy = Fine to look at. Photos of shy guy = Not fine. Video of shy guy = Not fine. Direct visuals of shy guy = Not fine. You can't make a drawing 100% accurate or get even close to the level of accuracy that a camera can, which is probably why drawings are perfectly fine. We know what he looks like because of the drawings.
