- The UAE Government updated the Labour Law in 2022. Many of the changes became enforceable in 2023. The newly updated law strengthened discrimination law and outlined obligations for employers. Furthermore, the law changed the lengths of certain leaves and established that all employment contracts must be fixed-term.

Maine 16 month complete kar ke resign Kiya hoon lekin main e jis din resign Kiya dusre din se baitha diya ki aap room pe raho jab ki notice period duty karne ke liye agree tha,lekin final settal ment room pe baitha uska payment nahin derahe hai

@@ashes5553 they have to pay you remaining vacations, Pending Public Holidays, Pending DO, your gratuity, your current month salary and if you want if you have any overtime which is not paid you can demand it,
Visa can be cancelled anytime if you good terms with company, so you can join new company immediately
also if your vacations are till last day of your notice period , they can make your Final settlement now, dont waste time till 27th April and start new company after getting new visa ( which can take only 1 day)
@@ashes5553 also your company is very clever who start your vacation from starting of public holiday, well you can argue with them that vacations should start after public holidays , well be careful also may your company delay your visa cancellation due to this argument and you get troubles in starting new job,

No, Don't worry if U are on right but if U lost case there will be adjustment between payable and receivable

Salam bhai. If a teacher completes 2 year limited contract in a Sharjah School (private sector), then Resigns from the job 2.5 months before the contract ending date, then are there any penalties? And, is the teacher eligible to get summer vacations salary? Also, what if the employer insists on cancelling the visa 2 months before the last date of contract? Are they trying to save their money? 🤔

Just to be more specific. Contract was from August 2022 till August 2024, but they insist to cancel in July 2024. The teacher wants to work till the last date of contract (which is till end of August 2024) and mentioned the notice period in the resignation, but they don't agree and insist on changing last date to July 2024...
They have to pay for notice period not completed
For example notice period mentioned in contract 60 days from either party
and once employee resigned with 60 days notice period they wanted to close it in 30 days they have to pay 30 days notice period amount on basic salary
About penalties no recruitment charges to be charged to employee
Regarding summer vacations there are 2 things
1-What was mentioned in contract?
2-if during summer vacation employee is continuing his contract period like during summer vacations he is still employee till last day of summer vacations he should be paid
If employee or employer cancels the contract and his last day of duty is also finished why employer should keep visa on hold
Normally they cancel the visa to avoid problems and to save money from health insurance etc
